Azzi Update

What kind of test would she get where she still wouldn't be testing positive? I know the latest recommendation is to isolate for 5 days, but that doesn't mean that after this period you get a negative test.
My wife tested positive for several weeks after all of her symptoms disappeared. Her Dr said that was not uncommon.

I really doubt we'll see her on the court in a game before the middle of January..........selfishly, I'm hoping she's ready for the Seton Hall game in NJ on the 19th as I will likely be in attendance.......:)
If the MRI Thursday went well she’ll be on the court for Butler.

It's not so I was wondering how the NCAA determines how someone is cleared to play.

Aubrey and Azzi are out for Saturdays game. Azzi passed all tests and will begin bball activities
So they will only have 8 bodies for the Marquette game, that's one more then what they had against Creighton and it is a home game.

As I predicted, from the Butler game onwards Azzi will be day to day. I don't know if she'll be ready for Butler, although in a previous thread I did say Butler had better watch out, but I do expect soon after.

If she took Paxlovid, she may have experience the Paxlovid rebound which has been documented. It goes away in 5 days and then you test positive again couple of days later and you have to follow the isolation protocol again.

Source? I see nothing about this on uconnhuskies.com or on Twitter. I did a Google search and found nothing to substantiate this.

Twitter. I’m not sure how to copy the tweet but Daniel Connolly tweeted it

I don't think anybody knows for sure but I'm pretty confident that she won't be needed for the Butler or Xavier games..........I assume she'll start off with limited minutes for a game or two before she starts playing thirty minutes again.....

Scenes from practice! Aubrey is there, in practice gear and mask. Azzi is in workout gear, seen next to Lou. All 7 players who played Wednesday are practicing with Amari!
Who is the blonde to the right of Ines, gray shirt and knee sleeve? (ETA Paige, duh)

Just because she’s not needed doesn’t mean she doesn’t need to play.

I know, I know. Camera angles are deceiving. I've been thinking for some time that Paige looks like she's taller than when she first arrived 2 years ago. For example compare her to Caroline, Lou, and Azzi. She's no longer 5'-11". She sure looks 6'-1" to me. Tell me you don't see the same thing. I'm pretty sure I've noticed a difference when she's standing next to Azzi during recent games. In all seriousness (while I can't say I've ever heard of such a thing) is it possible that her injuries triggered some bone growth during the healing process? Yeah, I know sounds preposterous.
