Available Transfers & Postgrads for 2017-2018

Wonder if we'll look into Khris Lane. 6'6" 245lb well-built wing out of Longwood. Grad transfer. Averaged 17 and 7 on .537/.337/.688 splits. Scheduled visits to Pitt and URI already. Very limited film available on him but seems like a great finisher and a less than great defender. More of a slasher than a shooter, pretty good in the post ups I saw, used his body well to create space and angles

If freakin Mizzou ends up with Porter, Knox, and Tilmon before we get significant good news then I may go insane.

My tell will be me starting to comment like Chap used to.

Did anyone mention Deng Riak transferring from ECU? Looked like a decent piece for them. Already redshirted once though so he'd give up a year of eligibility to get out of there now.

Seems clear anyone who wants to transfer after redshirting should take the Cam Johnson approach and graduate in 3 years, then get 2 immediate years elsewhere. You show any kind of game with 4th and 5th years immediate, you're going to get high major offers.

Seems like the younger Lawson will be giving up a year of eligibility to transfer as well

Kid played against my kid in HS pretty nice player. Would be nice for that 4th 5th role but looks like he wants a bigger role so for him he will nee to drop a level or 2 in D1 ball.

Looks like he has good size and strength. But man, he barely played and didn't produce.
I guess beggars can't be choosers but jeez....
