We played them in LA back when I played AAU , I was the same age as Derozan and Jennings. Derozan jumped over my head in 8th grade for an alley oop dunk and that’s when I realized my pro potential was limited…

We actually went back and beat them the following year but that was because we had a monster down low who ended up playing TE at UW eventually. We just fed the post and surrounded him with shooters

Hodgson turning them down took them past denial and into anger. My guess is there’s a good contingent that have reached bargaining (“Gerry wouldn’t be too bad”). Lord knows there’s plenty of depression over there after realizing your job is less sought after than Providence. And I look forward to when they all come around to the acceptance that Hopkins will be the next Cuse coach.

Posters over there are saying Autry was kept on as a consultant and Boeheim is sabotaging the process so he can get McNamara in there. I believe it.

Because he has only two seasons of head coaching experience and in his best season he went 13-7 in a weak conference with the highest NIL in the conference. I’m sure him being JB’s guy, after their last disaster with that, is not helpful. IMO it would be a really weak hire and very risky but it also doesn’t look like they have many good options
