All year long, the Sky play some beautiful basketball and build big leads, then give most of it away. They just keep bricking 3s.
 
Officiating has gotten insanely one sided in Q4. Refs are gonna win this one.
 
Jonquel is a problem for opponents down low and on the glass, but she has problems regarding help D on both ends of the court. I know that the Sun have a lot of options, but I think they should go to Bonner more frequently as she is a good decision maker and has a solid array of shots and moves. How in the world did it take somebody so long to acquire Odyssey? I guess she's a touch pricey with her tenure and teams want to develop young talent, but I think Miller should seriously consider starting her over Heideman. I really liked Clouden at MSU, but she is completely overmatched at this level. Hopefully, she works hard in the off-season and make the same huge strides as Dijonai did between years 1 & 2.
 
If you're Chicago, wouldn't it have made sense to miss that 2nd FT on purpose? 1.4 sec left to secure a rebound and desperation full court heave. As it was they got a really nice look from 3 that barely missed.
 
Sloot was outstanding down the stretch. Dagger 3s, assists.
 
Huge gane for the Mystics against the Sparks. They can help knock the Sparks out of the playoffs plus get a top 4 pick in the 2023 draft because they own that pick.

Definitely if they didn't have a timeout. With a timeout, they could've gotten the defensive rebound down 2 with 1.0 instead of down 3 with 1.4.

That all depends on securing the rebound immediately. 1.4 seconds can disappear real fast.
 
Hamby not starting today for LV. Stokes instead. Probably not a bad move, she's been struggling so much.

Sometimes there's a short-term disparity between the 2 teams in actual fouls, that correlates with fouls called. There was a bad foul called on A Thomas and missed an over and back on the Sky in the 4th (didn't matter). There were 2 questionable violations called on the Sky early in the 4th, but the Sun didn't convert either. The offensive fouls on Copper & Bonner on each other were solid.

Agreed, but since there's a decent chance that they quickly secure, giving an opportunity for the 3 to win, I like making there. One of things that drives me insane is when a team is up 1 with 1FT remaining under 4 seconds and other team has 0 timeouts and they make it.

Long way to go, but LA up by 10. Totally figures, Sparks have been struggling mightily, Mystics have been playing well lately. Par for the course in this wacky season.
 
That foul on a 3 by Stewie at the buzzer....how do you call that? Kicked her leg out at Stokes, I don't think it even made contact. Stokes absolutely touched no part of Stewie. That's just an embarrassingly bad call.

44-43 Vegas at halftime.
 
68-63 Aces heading into Q4. Wilson has 23, Stewie 21, Charles 19.
 
Gabby has been doing a good job on D on Plum. Kelsey is scoring when somebody else is guarding her, but not getting anything against Williams.
 
Gray has been huge in Q4. Wilson has had a monster game but hasn't scored in a while. Stewie started out cold but got going, now has a season high 35. Plum struggled somewhat but hit a dagger 3 from the corner that just about iced it.
 
89-81 final. Why didn't they get Sue back on the court for the final 10 seconds?
