Now you’re on to something!! You hit the bullseye. I bet she’d take their call.

Morgan was an assistant at Washington, Arizona, and VA Tech.....Sorry, but how does Morgan Valley meet those qualifications? And with her W-L record at Hartford, I just have to believe UConn can get someone with a bit more coaching luster.
I don’t think Tara is going to move to Storrs. Two or more universities that are members of Power 5 conferences
==>I think Geno already has a person in his mind
This is a bad thing?Drat. Probably no one on the Boneyard.
Rizzotti doesn't meet the minimum qualifications. UHartford and GWU have never been in a Power 5 conference.Jen Rizzotti
Tamika Williams Jeter.Agree with both of you.
Numerous people have commented "Geno wouldn't meet those qualifications". "CD wouldn't meet those qualifications". "Jamelle wouldn't meet those qualifications".
You are correct. They are not interviewing Geno or CD or Jamelle for the job. I believe, like several others, that there is literally one person in mind, who may have already agreed to take the job, and that the job description was written specifically with them in mind.
Now come on you BY detectives - who checks every box??!!!
LMAO!! This is just wrong. You know who else does?

I'd be completely shocked if he doesn't have someone (or more than one person) in mind. The job posting is simply the need to adhere to state personnel requirements.I would be really surprised if Geno doesn’t already have a pretty good idea who he expects to fill this job.
It’s definitely not Coach Jumper........
gee sorry TonyC............Ooh - let's dissect the qualifications as posted:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- five years of coaching experience working within a women’s collegiate Division I basketball program
- coaching experience at two or more universities that are members of Power 5 conferences
- working knowledge of the correct application of NCAA regulations
- strong commitment to the academic goals of the University
- excellent organizational, teaching, communication and public relations skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
So, now that we know both the minimum and preferred qualies, any guesses on who meets the min or both?
- Division I head coaching experience
- coaching experience on team(s) that have advanced to at least the regional round of the NCAA D I WBB Championship
- demonstrated experience coaching players who have achieved conference and/or national honors
- former playing experience at the Division I collegiate level

how about Muffet?........What about Niele?!I hear it is a little hot in South Bend!
Interesting also that the posting is for 1 week - comes down on the 20th.

Well... maybe the Syracuse men's program needs an assistant?
how about Muffet?........![]()
Come on I just finished eating my Zigeuner Schnitzel and fries.

Shea's husband will be on the staff at Vanderbilt per prior posts. Why would he stay in CT with her moving to TN?I am certain that our legendary coach already has someone specific in mind. We will all probably be surprised when it is confirmed. He probably made a big mistake when hiring Jasmine Lister last year. To this day I do not know what happened there. Is it still a mystery to me.
Please mark my word, this decision is huge...so much must be going on behind the scenes. Coach is as shrewd as it gets & wants his program to thrive.. Wheeling and dealing with other programs could be going on to get a coach released from a contract. Could someone out of the blue be coming, ex: Shea's husband? We will know soon.
She snores.... and not a quiet 'oh she's adorable' snore, no its more like she is driving a car with a bad muffler... inside your head.Shea's husband will be on the staff at Vanderbilt per prior posts. Why would he stay in CT with her moving to TN?
Now that's funny!!!
Hate it when they block you even in the private window.I think it will be Morgan Valley. The job description does seem to be written for her. Morgan worked extensively with Kelsey Plum when she was at Washington so I would say she knows how to coach guards! Here is a recent interesting article about Adia Barnes that gives some insight into Morgan as well:

Sue Bird, Morgan Valley recognized Adia Barnes could do special things at Arizona
Arizona’s Adia Barnes last collegiate game as a player came against UConn in 1999. Now...www.ctinsider.com
