Now that Durr and Ogunbuwale have scratched UConn, speculation can focus on Dangerfield.

I like our chances.

Ok, the class of 2015 is finished, with 3 stellar forwards/wings.

For 2016, my wish list:

At least 1 of Dangerfield or Ionescu.

At least 1 of Cox, McCoy, or Holmes.

Possibly Boley or Chou.

I think we need at least 2 kids; I'd prefer 3+.

Bigger loss for the Lady Vols then UConn. Have to wonder if Te'a Cooper's verbal led to Asia deciding not to consider the Lady Vols. Has any1 seen this? http://www.teacooper.com/ Look who is the sponsor of the site.

Don't forget about Natalie Butler too. What a great recruiting job!

So 12 scholarship players in 2015-16.
Leaving up to 5 scholarships for 2016 HS class. I would expect 2-3 kids taken.
That would leave 4-5 scholarships for 2017.

For 2017, Megan Walker is a stud, possibly #1.

Her freshman stats:
  • Games Played
    22
  • Points Per Game
    19.9
  • Assists Per Game
    1.6
  • Rebounds Per Game
    6.1
  • Steals Per Game
    2.8
  • Blocks Per Game
    1.5

That's a significant loss...Asia is a very high quality individual in the Maya Moore mold...and she has the athletic talent to go as far as she cares to. I hope we get to see a lot of her wherever she winds up...

Honestly I'd be ok with seeing her at any of those schools except Maryland. Not sure who I'd prefer at this time. Given that we'd heard she was a bit of a homebody, I'm a bit surprised that all the schools are "far" from her home (ie. none in her home state).

I'm with Ken - Dangerfield, Ionescu, McCoy, & Holmes

In 2017, Walker, and then a post and a guard...

It was known that when UConn signed this years class, with so many wings/guards, that Durr was wondering what was happening. From what I heard it didnt go over well and there were questions why. I feel that may have had alot to do with her eliminating UConn from her list. Like I said before UConn will still be favored to win the next 2-6 NCs depending on who gets who over the next 6 years. It is hard for me to believe that any team can be more talented then UConn and more dominate over that period. This years freshman class and next years freshman class are very very strong and add in Natalie Butler at 6'5 and UConn imo is the favorite.

Dangerfield is very interested in UConn as well as some other very talented point guards coming up. UConn will continue to win and may not get every top player but they already have enough imo to carry them for the next 6 seasons barring injuries.

I haven't forgotten Natalie. She becomes eligible when the 2015 kids arrive, but leaves when the 2014 kids leave, so effectively she's in the class of 2014/2018.

No, Natalie will still have three years of eligibility. She only played one year at Georgetown.
