Asia Durr = class act

If Doris Burke were still working women's basketball, she would comment on how extraordinarily well Asia Durr has comported herself.

Asia is a fantastic player and, even more importantly, has demonstrated high character.

Durr is a class act and very talented player who will have a fantastic pro career. The entire Louisville team is a class act. Yes, they play hard and can play physical when they need to. They play up until the final whistle. Never count them out. Credit Jeff.

If you ask me, I think its a better rivalry with Louisville than ND.

Hopefully that will be posted somewhere. I can go watch tape of the game now. I was so nervous I went on a 50 minute walk/run to de-stress myself. Couldn’t handle watching it.

I believe Asia hugged most, if not all the UConn players in the postgame line. That really floats my boat, and, as with Nan, I’m now a fan, never having been before.

I'd be surprised if she is not a perennial All-Star. I think her game will get even better playing with better players.

She had an incredible college career. Multiple time ACC PoY, Final Four appearance, $50k for attending Louisville. Happy for her

They would need to win at least 2 of 20 before I would agree.

She and Geno shared a nice hug and he gave her a kiss on the cheek. You could clearly see her say “go get it all”. What class in defeat.

Good luck in the pros, Asia. I’m now one of your fans.
I was at the arena and saw that and was quite happy to see it.

I’ve always believed that in an elimination tournament like this if you lose in a close game you WANT the team that won to trounce everyone else. Then you can with some legitimacy say “we were the second best in this tournament since we gave them the toughest battle”.

She hugged every coach and player in the handshake line after the game. It was a nice moment.

I didn't notice what she actually said to Geno, but I saw right away the big, genuine smile on her face as she greeted him, and the other members of the UCONN staff. Just blown away by her grace in that moment.

Her name is Asia Durr, and I have a feeling that as WBB fans we'll be hearing it often.

sometimes you don't 'land' them all. Too bad she wasn't a Husky
