Some kids deserve a scholarship irrespective of talent. I have no problem if Bradley takes up 4-5 year scholarship with limited contribution or PT. This is one case where the scholarship (i.e. education) will benefit the kid and his future (forget basketball). Please never say wasted again, its warranted. Good kids who overcame a troubled background deserve a break and should be rewarded.

It seems that some people forgot the message and point of the article... the kid is a great kid and i'm with kitaman- I don't care one bit if he plays well/contributes...(although it sure would be swell)

he is, by all accounts, a great kid and that was an awesome article.... while we sit here and bicker about his injury status and potential, he's hitting the books, trying to get himself ready to play (whenever that may be) and probably working his ass off in both areas...

I hope he becomes a really good player for UCONN, and not because I want to see the team do well, but because I want to see MB do well... I've never lived in a foster home or state run facility, or been separated from my mom without a father who had a heart attack... the fact that he has done the things he has and is now part of the Husky family makes me feel proud to support this team... sure, there are a lot of people out there who overcome obstacles and deserve the breaks/chances they get, but this one obviously hits close to home for all of us.

This was one of the better sports-related articles I've read in a long time- I wonder how long it'll take for ESPN to offer this guy a job... he did a great job actually being a real journalist.

(I just hope that no one paid for Ms. Jordan's plane ticket or the NCAA might come after MB... )

I've heard that UCONN uses the same team doctors as the Mets....If the doctors tell you that you need to wear a boot on your foot RUN because soon you'll need an amputation..

If Enosch Wolf played for the Mets, they would've flown him cross country days after he suffered his concussion. That's probably a good idea!
