Appears like Shug Dickson grad-transfer from Mizzou is transferring to Rutgers.
Is she a soldier of love?

Same for Twitter.Cardoso was recently followed by the official Texas WBB IG page. That’s usually a sign, right?
ETA: They seem to follow other prospects (not just signees and commits) with their official page. Not surprised, however, Vic is getting in the mix with her again.
That's two players not an entire team. And I think Aja Wilson had something to do with that championship. Also, I wasn't referring to such proven players before they transferred. Kaela Davis was #2 and Allisha Gray was #7 overall coming out of high school and Davis was the fastest to 1000 points in GT history and Gray was the 2nd fastest to reach 1000 points in NC history......hardly players that needed to be "coached up" in order to excel.Naw, not even close. The biggest transfer transformation was Dawn taking in Kaela Davis a defensive indifferent player during her two years at GT and getting her to play remarkable defense in stretches. Add in Allisha Gray another transfer and Dawn was able to parlay all of that into a championship.
Well, the TexasWBB twitter page typically only follows actual verbal commits or signees as it pertains to recruits:Cardoso was recently followed by the official Texas WBB IG page. That’s usually a sign, right?

Are you on your smart phone, or on a pc/laptop ?
For me, whenever I'm on my laptop, twitter seems to list the most recent followers at the top. On my smart phone, there appears to be no chronological date order of any kind.
My phone. Twitter usually shows the people they think I’d be interested in at the top of anyone’s following page if I don’t already share followers with them. If that makes sense...
Actually, only Braxtin Miller will be out of eligibility after next season. Shelden and Greene will only be juniors this coming season. Harris, Poole, and Jones only Sophomores (Harris Redshirt). Now if you're talking transfers out....who knows what will happen. Ohio State will have zero academic seniors next season. Also, have two guards coming in next season. And three below 6'0" W/G's (yes, they will have 10 guards in '22-'23) the following season, which if Mikesell has to sit would be her season to play. So, I'd be surprised if Mikesell ended up at Ohio State, but weirder things have happened.I'm with you on this. She's an Ohio kid and, quite candidly, I wondered about the transfer to Oregon with the pandemic going on.
This is her second transfer and there were no extenuating circumstances surrounding the first one (such as Balogun/Dixon with Mechelle Joseph at GT) right? If so, she'll have to sit a year.
With that in mind, Ohio State has a mess of returning upper classmen at guard (but no height) a few of whom will be graduating after this year, so maybe she might look at her in-state university.
Another suggestion: have a chat with the heir apparent coach at Purdue and get to know each other. I could also see her getting along fine with Suzy Merchant at Michigan State.
Beside last season, what other seasons did Blair take a large group of transfers and coached them up?Gary Blair is the only coach I can think of who can build a "team" from a large group of transfers in just one season. He's a master at it in part because he does it often. A new unproven coach plus a bunch of players that haven't played together before is like having a rookie coach directing a bunch of freshmen and a few sophomores with limited experience....sounds like a disaster in the making. If she pulls it off she's going to be a great coach down the road...but that's a mighty BIG if!
That we agree on. That she would start next year at OSU because the clock is ticking in the portal for players that would fit his half court set system. I am just not convinced that she wants to improve her defense. Sometimes players only buy into portions of their game. Worse thing for her is Graves over sold her to the fans as the future Erin Boley. One bad habit Graves has at Oregon is over selling what he had. Actions speak louder than words. She would get minutes at OSU. She's a baller. Rueck would be the ideal coach to improve her defense. When Aleah Goodman came to OSU, she was a terrible defender. By the time she left OSU, Goodman was an excellent defender.

Greene and Sheldon are the same class. I feel like they’ll both stay their full four years. With both being from Columbus. But who knows.
I guess it depends on what Mikesell is looking for haha Michigan State would have room. But if she wants to be PG I can’t imagine she’d out play incoming freshman Damiya Hageman (sp?). She might end up at Michigan too. It would be her best option in the Big Ten to have a successful final season. Especially if she gets a waiver. But if she’d rather be the primary guard and doesn’t care about team success...maybe Purdue! Haha
EDIT: I just found out who her top three out of high school were along with Maryland, Florida State, and Stanford. Seems a bit of a surprise. But maybe she finishes up in Tallahassee. FSU was the first major school to recruit her, so she's familiar with the coaches.
Technically, she was a JUCO transfer, as was another wing player who was also a starter on A&M's national championship team.Well, he took one very large transfer -- Danielle Adams -- and trained/coached her well enough that she pretty much beat my Irish in the second half of their National Championship game in 2011 (?) single-handedly.

Not just a "transfer", but the National JUCO POY, if my memory serves me correctly. All I remember about her was that she signed with Mizzou out of high school, but did not qualify academically and had to go the JUCO route. Can't say I recall everyone who recruited her out of JUCO, but I remember Texas pursuing her, as well.Thanks. Was aware of that. But a transfer, nonethless, right? Depending on what stories you can dig up, she apparently chose Texas A&M (over Louisville) to get ready for a possible pro career.
Floriday State is usually great with transfers. Kiah Gillespie (from Maryland) did really well there. Maybe lightning will strike twice.Greene and Sheldon are the same class. I feel like they’ll both stay their full four years. With both being from Columbus. But who knows.

If you don't think Kaela Davis needed to be coached up to play defense you don't know Kaela Davis. That's two players not an entire team. Fair points but when Graves was 8 weeks into the season saying to the local Oregon media about this is the best group of shooters he has ever had one starts to cringe at that. Even some of the local sports writers started to question that. That part week after week was a little oversold IMO.I agree with your comments on her possible prospects with the Beavers and on Graves overselling her.
I don’t agree that Graves has a habit over time of over selling his team. He didn’t”t when Ionesco and Hebard were freshmen. He didn’t when they won three straight regular season championships. In fact, their sophomore year when the conference coaches picked them to win the championship he said he didn’t agree...they were still too young.
This season, yes, he made a number of glowing comments about Sedona and their 3 point shooting that weren’t on the mark. But, he also consistently said this was going to be an up and down season due to the team’s relative inexperience. On that, he was correct.
Never was a WNBA player especially with players like Odyssey Sims and Lexie Brown being waived although they both got picked up by other teams. There’s a lot of talent that won’t be able to make a 12 man roster that are better than her.To me, Mikesell was mismatched for Oregon from the start. It is also a huge downgrade if she transfers to Sacramento St to be with Campbell, especially if her aspirations are still in the WNBA (I think that is a reach at this point anyway) but she is a capable P5 player and a starter on most of the P5 teams. FSU is interesting to me as are some of the Big10 teams that would offer the opportunity to play closer to home.
So, we could be seeing a player who "peaked" as a Freshman making the All-Big 10 2nd team (Honorable Mention in '20)...and over estimated her abilities.
Good luck to her as I do think she can shoot (albeit streaky).
