I would also rank UConn #1, but I don't get why everyone hates on Close. Yes, UCLA looked BAD in last year's final four, but UConn also dominated SC in the title game (yes, not as bad, but no one was beating UConn last year). UCLA also beat UConn pretty handedly the previous year in the Cayman Islands, so it's not like Close can't win big games.
I think for last year's UCLA team, it was their first ever final four and then felt like the big hurdle to get over (that plus UConn being a bad matchup for them and also playing like crap).
I'm not convinced UCLA has fixed the issues that hurt them last year against UConn, but they basically only play seniors (beyond Little Betts), they pass the ball really well, and everyone can shoot. To beat the Huskies, they will need to be hot from 3, limit turnovers, win the rebounding battle, and hope UConn has an off shooting night.
