I hope we are ranked #4 but I would not be surprised if Arizona jumped up considerably and passed us with their victory at Duke.
 
Anywhere in the Top 10 is fine for me right now. This upcoming gauntlet we have coming up will sort us out. Then comes the BE where the real sorting will happen. It's all about handling the adversity when it comes. We have the leadership and experience to handle it.

We will be better prepared post season this year than last year, I think we will be fine.

Gonna be an exciting season with some highs and lows. I really haven't been this excited for years. Just bring it and let the chips fall.

I know it's not the UConn way (National Champions), but if we are crowned BE champs I'll see this season as successful. I want the Throne!

Should be 4, I'll guess 5 because half the voters don't watch and will only have seen Arizona beat Duke

Doesnt matter at this point. Start 10-0 and we`ll be #1 anyway.

Arizona is not jumping into the top 3. I’m guessing we’ll be 4 and they’ll be 5 or 6. 5 is moving up 7 spots, going up 8 spots for one good win would be a lot.

I sort of agree but if I’m being honest, seeing that #2 next to our name was a nice feeling after waiting to long to crack the top 10 or even 25 in some years.

Being ranked higher is objectively better. It means you aren’t losing.

That Duke win is by far the best win for anyone in the season so far. Duke is going to be Top 10 all year—and they'll deserve that ranking.

That said, I don't think Arizona is going to jump any of the undefeated Top 4. The media had a narrative that there were 6 elite teams (Duke, Kansas, UConn, Purdue, Michigan State, Marquette) and then everyone else. Two of those "elite teams" have lost. Arizona probably jumps to 5-6 and Duke falls to 6-8.

2 Purdue
3 Arizona
4 Marquette
5 UConn
6 Houston
7 Creighton
8 Duke
9 Tennessee
10 FAU
 
Not sure the basis for saying they‘ll “deserve the ranking” based on the eye test thus far… let’s assume they fall to the 6-8 range like you’re saying… if they lose to Michigan St. this week (and bookmakers via the moneyline will have the implied probability of that happening at around 35-40% I’m guessing) in the Champions [Of Social Media] Classic you can forget “Top 10 all year“ as they’ll be gone from the Top 10 the following Monday given MSU will no longer be coming into that game with their lofty ranking after having lost to JMU… if you think that 35-40% implied probability is actually 0% thus guaranteeing Duke remains in the Top 10 for another week (which is necessary for the whole year prophesy to come true) then by all means hammer the Duke money line!
