He can fly, he can pass something tough to find these days no doubt. That take to the left side kinda faked the pass and changed from right hand to left to lay it in his head was on the rim kid flies. I mean the ceiling is way up there but my question is can he shoot? You have to make shots to get those looks the next level, not always but to hit the ceiling you will need to.

Agree. Someone should make a mixtape of all the open missed shots taken by Sid.

I'm not being picky or busting balls the kids a stud now how could I even be pissed if we get him. But I just have a preference for a kid who can make shots and take it to the hole, doesn't make Andre less of a win for us I just think the game has evolved to shooters being a priority. Man he's impressive though.

Either Jackson or JAR at that wing spot they’re looking to fill would be a huge land for the program. With that said my money is on JAR being the better college player. If Jackson was smart he’s come here though; he needs to play in a VERY uptempo offense that does most of its damage in transition, like Uconn.

Yeah. If we land him and we have a good shooting team overall it would probably be fine though as the slashing freak athlete surrounded by shooters. He’s an impact player regardless but of course, he should be working to improve his shot.

Polley is a shooter. Sid is an athlete. Their shortcomings hurt the team. Jackson’s game is exciting without a doubt but a really poor shooter puts a lot of pressure on the other four players in a half court offense.

Cuse fans have spent the last few days bad mouthing “Yukon” and the Big East in their Jackson recruitment thread, reassuring each other that they are “not worried”....

They are so insecure. With good reason. Its so bad up there they lose guys to the draft who in turn go undrafted.

Syracuse assistant Gerry McNamara and head coach Jim Boeheim watched top target Andre Jackson over the weekend. He has said that UConn, Iowa, Syracuse and UCLA are the four recruiting him the hardest. That said, this is a Syracuse vs UCLA battle and Syracuse remaining in the lead. That said, he is a teenager who is enjoying being recruited. He likes taking visits, and who can blame him? So this recruitment may take longer than originally anticipated. Patience is key here.

again...lol

Our "insiders" are hearing otherwise so this makes this guy mind of a joke, unless of course he's on target? I'd like to say he's a typical Cuse guy and way off his rocker.

This clown refused to believe UConn was a threat for Akok Akok.

Same guy that had Akok going to Cuse.

It's the typical not committed posts they do. Of course

course the Cuse fans are blowing up the comments....but it looks good on him!

Everyone should reply he’s asking what people think..

What I like most about Jackson is just how different he is. Like you watch him on tape and he just sticks out like a sore thumb; he plays at a pace that’s just on another level.

Different is what we need. We have a basic starting five, now we need depth that is special in some way so the coach can vary strategy and play match-ups.

Could his shooting shortcomings be somewhat overcome by good interior passing with him slashing to the rim off a give and go? Or is that just Sid 2.0? Jackson sure looks confident and seems to handle the ball way better than Sid too.

From the Cuse board: "This has always confused me when UConn pounds their chest.... They fact they talk about championships when recruiting now is absolute bonkers to me."

Sounds like they are getting scared :p

Yes, why would a school that's won four national championships in 21 years talk about it? Makes no sense. Hurley would have to be bonkers to mention that to recruits.

Jackson appears to have more skills in general than Sid. But ultimately it’s difficult to win if the ball doesn’t go through the hoop.
