Any guesses by anyone who Andi is not dead too who she goes with?

Oh my, AEH just a kid who got into trouble at UConn, Let's hope she gets past it and has a great basketball career, as long as she misses the 3-ptr. in the final seconds of the NC game against UConn.:D

remember that Ossining is home to Aubrey Griffin, a highly regarded 2019 recruit who has visited UConn already............AEH's transfer saga may very well have a negative impact............no reason to pile on an 18 year old who apparently made a bad decision.............
 
Isn't AEH the player who, "committed" to UConn when she was in junior high? That would have made her, what, about fourteen or thereabouts? If so I find it ineffably sad that a young woman would have for years idolized this program, the coach, the players and put in the hours and effort to get invited to the big show only to have it play out like this. And with this latest - dare I say Shakespearian twist she's considering throwing her lot in with one of her dream team's arch rivals. She swore, in faith 'twas strange, 'twas passing strange.

I'm born and raised kn the Mid Atlantic and pretty much everyone would say USC is in CA.
 
I can't imagine any young lady having a tougher time than Saniya Chong, who attended the same high school as AEH and now plays in the WNBA and in Israel. I give her a lot of credit for sticking it out when the going was tough, and it was tough for three years.

Ask any Division 1 College Football fan outside of South Carolina and they will say University of Southern California. USC has 2 WCBB NC to SC 1 NC.

If I'm being honest with myself, I will miss Andra Espinoza-Hunter. I truly thought, had she stayed with the program that Her and Megan Walker, would have provided a tandem in later years similar to Pheesa and Lou, both pushing each other and battling for individual honors on the team, but now we shall never know..

Not quite sure why the change of heart, but this was a young lady who was very enthusiastic about the idea of playing at UCONN, I do remember however seeing a tweet early on last year along the lines of "Need someone I can talk to on a daily basis" which I thought was rather strange at the time..
But brushed it off after hearing her talk with reporters as the season progressed and watching her play, she actually at times looked more comfortable on the court than most of the freshman class. So her opting to transfer this early considering her progress Just seems odd, but such is life, and we may never learn the reasoning behind it all :)

AEH have posted before about being really good Friends with Jayda Adams, who I believe is attending Duke, so that might explain why Duke is listed as a school of interest.. If she landed at Mississipi State, that would be quite interesting considering what occurred in the final four last year.. Can you Imagine? Oh well, where ever she goes, she has the potential to contribute meaningful minutes, that is if she can put this ordeal behind her.. Good Luck and health young lady!! I am selfishly disappointed you won't be here with us, but hold no grudge.. Because Geno said in speaking on why Kids transfer, that all the kids Uconn recruit are outstanding individuals (good kids) so that says a lot and is enough for me to continue supporting her efforts from a distance...

I was surprised to see Louisville on this list, as we are pretty guard heavy. I have since learned, on good authority, that Louisville is not recruiting her.

And there's a school located in northern Indiana that plays USC annually in the "longest inter-sectional football rivalry in D1 football" to take the words straight out of our sports promo department. :rolleyes:

Granted, I'm a bit on the older side (compared to millennials), but growing up on northern Long Island, USC was John McKay, OJ, Pat Haden, student body left or right, the "dance" girls and that fight song (we Irish fans have long aural memories). ;)

Subsequent business trips to North Carolina, southern Va., Georgia, etc. have gotten the USC applied to the Gamecocks, but that's how I think of them: as the Gamecocks or South Carolina.
 
I really like and enjoyed this thread as it's rather thought provoking about the manner in which one handles themselves when faced with struggles. As I think this through it leaves me with mixed thoughts and emotions.

I really like and agree with a lot of what mdoggie says but his comment about Mr. wonderful on Shark Tank I think brings one to a major point. His "she is dead to me" and much of what Mr. wonderful continually says and demonstrates make many or even most want little or nothing to do with him. If played out to its natural conclusion U Conn WBB's ongoing and continuing recruiting would be seriously hampered maybe almost destroyed. On the other hand mdoggies point that she quit on her teammates and couldn't or wouldn't handle what playing for Geno and his staff require is accurate as well. It is why as stated here so, so many times that this is not for everyone.

It is really pretty remarkable that a MW or CD can, does and will take the on-going criticisms and often severely reduced playing time and do all they can to fit in, take the suggestions to heart and do all they can to improve. For a top notch star player who has often been pampered and showered with attention from a very young age to accept this demonstrates how thoroughly and carefully U Conn recruits it's women. Also the manner in which the coaching team and especially Coach CD models and teaches these amazing young women to comport themselves is incredible. I was watching the recent post game presser with KLS and the way she and almost all of the players learn to speak about we and not "I" says so very much.

I look at these issues and just wish that I had or allowed mentors in my life years ago who drilled these messages into me. I even recently struggled with and wasn't proud of how I handled some things in my passion for my charitable work.

So in summary for me I wish the young lady well, she didn't fit here well and hopefully she makes the right decision for herself as to her next stop and to improve and maximize her full capabilities.

If I'm being honest, AEH's decisions make little sense to me. First she commits to UConn (far earlier than wise) and then continues to honor that commitment even though two higher ranked players would be coming in with her (Walker & Coombs). In addition, the #1 ranked team only losses one starter, and has two highly ranked redshirts (Stevens & Camara) becoming eligible. And, there is also Dangerfield to contend with and perhaps Irwin and Bent as well.

How could she have possibly thought significant playing time would be available until at least her junior year? Ridiculous!

He was also Saniya coach and is coaching Aubrey Griffin. Aubrey has already "unofficially" visited UCONN.

Isn't that Longuyland? Visits to North Beach, Terryville (L.I) --to wife's relatives would indicate that's it.
Working with paramedic groups from Green--pernt (Greenpoint) to Montuk pt (sP) That seemed common usage.

Isn't the NCAA max number 15 for the roster? If that is correct, 12 minus 1 plus three leaves room for AEH this spring?? Since I'm only a side line viewer, I'm asking for your expertise--is that true, or am I, as usual, missing something?? Sorry Coco--reading seems isn't fundamental for me---(edit)
