I made my first post over at that board after someone wrote that UConn never has any talent to work with, and the PP is not a bad football coach. My post simply stated that our football coach had 9 NFL players on his roster when the team posted a losing season, so the team wasn't without talent.

I was banned.

Have to say, I always thought UConn fans made fun of the PC board's banning after they trolled the place... but this is a new height.

Thanks, I was back east getting my daughter married off when PC announced. In regards to Abu I have no idea but as has been pointed out in other threads, insiders at our Scout site are saying UConn, but I also agree with the sentiment that Expressions is orchestrating this announcement and the misinformation that appears to be flying around. I just want Saturday to get here so we can end what has become a bit of a circus and all move on.

If it were me, my response would have been something like "I'm losing my little girl to some guy who will never be good enough for her!".

She gave me cufflinks that had a childhood picture of her I cherish on one and the words, "I loved her 1st" on the other. Still has me choked up, it was a lot more sentimental than my words on a message board. Thanks for the congrats, fellow future father of the brides, the money is easy, the giving her away is not. They are both SHU grads so at least they have that going for them...

I echo FriarJ's thanks to all well wishers. After I log off here I need to work on my speech (to wife & daughters approval). Next week is dancing lessons in NYC where my daughter lives.
For all you fathers with daughters this is a real experience. Writing the check is sometimes the easiest part.
