That sucks. He needs to be flying jets and stuff. Hopefully it's not a bad breakKudos to the D for knocking the QB out with a clean hard hit. I think he broke his hand.

Hopefully we know better this year.CFB is now a year by year rebuild. We revamped the entire D after last year.
Happens. I'd feel bad if it was a dirty play. That sucks. He needs to be flying jets and stuff. Hopefully it's not a bad break
No rebuild. Just a reload. That’s the beauty of the portal.I think we will long for a 9-3 record next year. We are going to rebuild next year. Can't wait to see the signees we get and the Transfers during the off-season. I love how Jim Mora got UConn into the press!
Who'll be the QB next year??
I don't think we have our 2026 QB yet. Evers would be a huge step backwards. No rebuild. Just a reload. That’s the beauty of the portal.
I’d expect Evers or McDonald to start. Ferrar looks good too. Plus we could always add someone. There will be options.
Need to bring in a really talented passer from the portal. Someone just slotted behind a fixture at a bigger program. No rebuild. Just a reload. That’s the beauty of the portal.

I don’t disagree - I definitely have reservations about Evers. I think it’s important to remember that last year he arrived after spring camp, so he only had the fall camp to prepare. Come next season (if he’s still here) he will have had two full offseasons to learn and prepare.I don't think we have our 2026 QB yet. Evers would be a huge step backwards.
Need to get a good passer from portal. Can't go back to a run first team since the offense will stagnate and scoring will fall off.I think we will long for a 9-3 record next year. Don't feel sorry for them at all. Remember they compete with UConn in recruiting. Not sure NE can support UConn, BC & UMass. Liked it better when Mass was an FCS program. Not too long ago in the abyss of 2016-2021 a season like this seemed like an impossibility.
Just look at our "friends" up north in Amherst. I am not trying to throw shade at UMass- I genuinely feel bad for them because we know what that is like.
Yeah I didn't wish for it to happen. It just happened. Dude was punishing the D on every run and he got punished on 1 run. I don't know that it was broken, but knocking him out the game worked to our advantage just like Vincent Jackson getting knocked out the game worked out to their advantage. Its football. Only way to avoid injuries in FB is to not play it.Yes good job breaking someone’s hand. I do not wish for injuries.
No more bench warmers. Get a productive fcs guy.Need to bring in a really talented passer from the portal. Someone just slotted behind a fixture at a bigger program.
Let’s not forget - Fagnano was a benchwarmer until he wasn’t. People were done with him after less than two games of work in 2023. Now look where we are. And fwiw being a benchwarmer behind Joe isn’t anything to be ashamed of.No more bench warmers. Get a productive fcs guy.
Maybe not. Remember how bad Pindell looked?I don't think we have our 2026 QB yet. Evers would be a huge step backwards.
Nah. I said last week this dude had a 1900 yd season at Maine and had productive games against BC and UMass on tape.Let’s not forget - Fagnano was a benchwarmer until he wasn’t. I may be in the minority, but I want a mobile pocket passer, not a run-first or option guy. I never saw pro potential in Pindell.Maybe not. Remember how bad Pindell looked?
Who cares about pro potential. Pindell is one of the best QBs to ever play here.I may be in the minority, but I want a mobile pocket passer, not a run-first or option guy. I never saw pro potential in Pindell.
I couldn’t agree moreNah. I said last week this dude had a 1900 yd season at Maine and had productive games against BC and UMass on tape.
If im gonna bring in another P5 back up with no game experience I'd rather rock with Evers. He has shown ability in games. All he needs is slight improvement in his accuracy and he could be really effective.
Don't need pro potential in college QBs. Mobile QBs are a problem in college. Id take Thomas Castellanos in Sammis's offense all dayI may be in the minority, but I want a mobile pocket passer, not a run-first or option guy. I never saw pro potential in Pindell.
Didn’t Evers walk today with the seniors? Will he be back?I don’t disagree - I definitely have reservations about Evers. I think it’s important to remember that last year he arrived after spring camp, so he only had the fall camp to prepare. Come next season (if he’s still here) he will have had two full offseasons to learn and prepare.
Sammis has created a very QB friendly offense here. Time will tell how much Bell and Fangnano have to do with itDon't need pro potential in college QBs. Mobile QBs are a problem in college. Id take Thomas Castellanos in Sammis's offense all day
Joe is mobile. Joe is not a runner, although he can certainly get chunks. I don't think a runner fits what Mora wants to do.Don't need pro potential in college QBs. Mobile QBs are a problem in college. Id take Thomas Castellanos in Sammis's offense all day
Pindell had a good year in '18, with >3000 total passing/rushing yards. I take Fagnano over Pindell 100x of 100. It's a more complete offense. Let's also remember Pindell had 19 passing TDs to 13 INTs.Who cares about pro potential. Pindell is one of the best QBs to ever play here.
I didn't say he was better. But he did more with less than anyone's ever done here.Pindell had a good year in '18, with >3000 total passing/rushing yards. I take Fagnano over Pindell 100x of 100. It's a more complete offense. Let's also remember Pindell had 19 passing TDs to 13 INTs.
