Not so promising comments made by Agot in Ayla McDowell’s comment section (SC commit).

“Future teamieeee?”

multiple comments made by Agot. She’s on her official visit to us starting today. But I believe many think she’s an SC lean so far.

I don’t know what the “many” are basing their beliefs on but I don’t place much weight on her question marked comment regarding McDowell.

But if it’s down to a decision between SCar and UConn, she ‘s a smart girl. :p

There's accounts that run some sort of percentages to see where a recruit likely ends up based on different factors. Not really sure.

For sure, pick between the top 2 programs for CWBB.
 
She said UCONN was her dream school growing up. I don't recall any negative since such as some players said they grew up dreaming of UCONN but when they got older they dreamed of beating them. I recall her mentioning the role UCONN felt she would be. Unless Blanca is some sort of block to her wishing for a different role UCONN told her, or there is a huge NIL deal, then I can't see why this wouldn't be at least 50-50 betewen UCONN and SOCar or split even among any others.

I think it's like what @visitingcock said about some are reading too much into what is being posted on social media. Recruits could also be posting comments like that to help build buzz and followers on their platform.

For all we know, Makeer may end up deciding in the last few days before signing day. Definitely think it's 50/50 between UConn and South Carolina though.

Did she even show up or head back to South Carolina? Way too much drama.

Do we know she was definitely on campus this weekend? Maybe dates got changed. I haven't seen any sources saying she was there.

And she posted on her Instagram story when she was at Duke and South Carolina... so I would be surprised she wouldn't show she was at UConn as well.

There could be an alternative logical reason, but in the absence of that, the odds that the mutual interest between her and Uconn has changed looks much higher. Blanca could be the reason (similar position), or if it looked like there might be only one more spot, Lara and a big might have been considered the higher priority. Maybe after one of her last two visits she knows what she wants to do.

Regardless if indeed we are no longer an option for her, while that is disappointing, it might also mean Geno thought Blanca was better, and our odds with Lara might be pretty good.

ESPN reported on November 7 that "No. 4 Agot Makeer is looking at UConn, South Carolina, Michigan State and Kentucky." So, apparently Agot went from 6 finalists to 4 very recently with Duke and North Carolina getting dropped. Folks seem to think her announcement is this week. As an MSU fan and alum, I would be ecstatic if she chose the Spartans, but I would be very surprised if she did. It would be an enormous "get" for MSU's new head coach Fralick. Agot or no Agot, CF is off to a great start, taking over after Merchant retired last year, mid-season, for medical reasons.

Incredibly surprised she’s still looking at us. Maybe she’s waiting to see if Lara commits, since if she does, we’re out of scholarships (presumably, unless Caroline or Azzi move on which is highly unlikely)

I don't think we get either. Don't think Agot ever made her trip to Storrs (think she's headed to South Carolina) and Somfai I think now is headed to Stanford.

There’s still hints Somfai wants us. Agot is 99% a SC commit. Lara seems to be 50-50 between us and Stanford.

We aren’t hearing anything like that on Agot on our end. I’m guessing Michigan State
 
I saw on twitter somewhere that Agot is announcing on the 17th, four days after Somfai. That could mean nothing or something, I don't know, but my guess is it's unrelated since she didn't visit. If on the other hand, there was only one spot left and that was reserved for Lara if she wanted it, Agot could be plan B if Lara doesn't come, but I doubt it.

I thought the same, but cutting your list by two schools and including a school you haven’t visited doesn’t make a ton of sense. I say we get both!
 
I would take Ainhoa Risacher over Agot in a heartbeat. I see she is listed as a player of interest. Do not know if she got an offer. I saw her game against USA national Junior team. She scored 20 points six two long arms all around game Jerzey Robinson try to take it down low and got her shot blocked. She got a rebound and threw a 3/4 Paige like pass on the money for a layup. Also, she has great bloodlines Her brother was the number one pick in the NBA draft last year Atlanta Hawks. Last week against the Knicks he had 33.

ESPN ranks Agot Makeer the ninth best player regardless of class.

Did Agot visit on October 25? She seems to be a SC lean. She'll announce over the weekend.
