Wow. The next CJ Leslie

That's what amazes me........he is not as good as CJ coming out of HS/prep and look what Gottfried did with Leslie, almost the same player as when he got to NC State.......these kids listen to people who know nothing and I'm not sure where their best interests lie?

really no point in stressing over this one, NC State literally looks to be the worst option out of the 4 and thats where he lands. good luck to him but I get the feeling in a couple of years him and his camp are going to be wishing they had a do over.

Wow, if that's not the greatest evidence of someone feeding him lines, I don't know what is. Patty Hearst was involved with this decision.

Good one!! I think we all know Kevin Ollie and prior to that Jim Calhoun does THAT better than anyone so let's not compare..........those ex-Wolfpack players I am sure are flocking in to see Gottfried lead them to the Round of 30 every year and work out with the team!...........

Abu: it was hard not to stay close to home at Providence or #UConn, hard to say no to Florida, a prestigious school.

I think you guys are being a little unfair.

AMA will be able to make a nice living in the D-League.
Came here to say exactly this. Hope he has fun starring for the Maine Red Claws in 2018.

I find everything about this decision and process hilarious.

I will promptly now forget his name as he fades into obscurity.

I don't know what nc states pitch could have been...
I think it was the "We really want you Abdul!" tweet by that goober that sealed the deal.

His recruitment makes zero sense to me, wouldn't be surprised if we hear some strange goings on down the road.

Do we all remember the kid from New London that went to Florida a few years back? Of course not - neither do I (Chambers, Chaney?) well that's Abu at NC State........should have picked PC would have been his best move for so many reasons!;)

No Gottfried got Boswell something. Job, money, something.
I have no inside knowledge but this would be my guess, the decision just makes no sense otherwise and Boswell was clearly running everything with AMA's recruitment. This whole hyped up press conference for his AAU program stunk to the high heavens.
