genuinely curious, what are some good reasons to wait to offer a bonified 5* like him? i can see waiting to offer a developmental guy but that's not the case here. guys always talk about "the first school to offer me" etc when it comes to making decisions so it matters to some. plus an offer isnt binding.wouldn't worry too much about the lack of offer so far. There's many reasons to wait.
And he's a great student too. No academic concernsgenuinely curious, what are some good reasons to wait to offer a bonified 5* like him? i can see waiting to offer a developmental guy but that's not the case here. guys always talk about "the first school to offer me" etc when it comes to making decisions so it matters to some. plus an offer isnt binding.

His cousin is his teammate and his little brother is an 8th graded playing varsity for Hamden Hall. A lot of basketball talent in that family.
lol ya this doesnt' matter anymore. This is like reading a comment from 2007. Academics!!And he's a great student too. No academic concerns
It matters to Hurley.lol ya this doesnt' matter anymore. This is like reading a comment from 2007. Academics!!
OH NOOOO what's our APR!!! so glad that charade has died.
There's probably not too many schools who will play an 8th grader on varsity.Hamden Hall is a dumpster fire. I hope the kid can get into a different program.
It’s indicative of a kid that takes school seriously and at least has a certain level of maturity. I’d say it matters a lot.lol ya this doesnt' matter anymore. This is like reading a comment from 2007. Academics!!

Toure had an effortless 42 tonight and Arkansas was in the building and we were not.
This kid CANNOT get away from us!
Maybe we want to put distance between our offer and Bryant's.It's still very early in the recruiting process. We didn't even offer Adams, Mullins, Reibe until Maybe-June this year.
He's not a very good 3-point shooter yet, and our offense requires shooting. The staff may be saying "we want to see you improve your shot before you get that real offer."
Maybe they just want to make the offer feel special and exclusive instead of handing them out willy nilly.
Maybe there's some off-the-court issues we don't know about, but I doubt we'd be investing as much time as we have unless the staff really thinks he's going to fit our program. We aren't giving him free tickets to the Baylor game behind the bench for no reason.

Yes, that was my point, not APR. Thank you. It’s indicative of a kid that takes school seriously and at least has a certain level of maturity. I’d say it matters a lot.
