Sure palThe UConn that offered Clingan is not the UConn of today. Hurley was rebuilding the program, had no pros and no championships. He had to offer early to have a shot. That isn’t the case anymore. Whether he offers now or in the summer won’t make a difference. They’re in contact.
Mullins, Reibe, Adams, Flagg, McNeeley were all offered late.
Oh and block me![]()
Sure pal
So the offers we already have out for 2026 recruits are……..??????He’s not wrong. On top of that it’s highly arguable if college basketball is the same college basketball when UConn recruited Clingan.
There are too many factors right now. I do want him offered soon but it’s still extremely early for 2026.
Imagine where this program will be when Hurley learns to recruit, figure out substitution patterns, learns how to win close games, and handle himself with the refs.
I think we could win a title.
Guys Hurley likes currently more than Toure. The math isn’t hard. Hurley wants to see more before he offers. You’re over thinking itSo the offers we already have out for 2026 recruits are……..??????

Uconn needs to offer this kid already. He wants to play for us.
I don’t know who we’ve offered already. 2026 is ions away. I’m not even all the way sure why anyone is worried about offers in 2026. But whomever they are clearly Hurley thinks they’ve earned the offer.Names?
They're all top 15ish guys. There's a list on StorrsCentral if you subscribe. https://storrscentral.com/forums/1/topics/401Names?
Per 247, two offers made to '26 recruits:Names?

Maybe in your dimension...ions are quite small, so it sounds pretty close![]()
You make this sound like you know this for a fact when you are just reading the tea leaves.Guys Hurley likes currently more than Toure. The math isn’t hard. Hurley wants to see more before he offers. You’re over thinking it
He’s currently working with an elite strength coach in CT so I don’t have worries about his development on that end. High school D in CT is impossible to assess, it’s so much more effort than skill at that stageSaw Abdou Toure this AM in Kingdom of the Sun in Ocala. He was 7 for 7 from 3pt land.
Exceptional athlete and BB player. Whoever said 5 * I agree. Needs strength and work on D but only a junior.
Well, HD was basically a practice player at UConn before spurning us, so AT is nothing like him.Is this kid’s game similar to Hamidou Diallo? Not that I watched him much either, but I just remember everybody losing their minds when he picked Kentucky.
Samuels and Toure* would be an amazing wing duo to build the class around. We'll also prob need another forward and big man. Liam is gone after this year and Mullins sounds more and more like a one and done after next year. I doubt Ball and Stew will still be here as seniors.Qayden Samuels, another 6-5, 200 SG. He's from Maryland and I believe his sister plays for the women's team. 5 star ranked #16 nationally.
I’m using common sense. If Hurley wanted to or felt he needed to offer by now he would have. Yes we know thatYou make this sound like you know this for a fact when you are just reading the tea leaves.
