We never have to wonder if we'll ever be able to play close football with the biggest boys. Apparently, we already have...
Maybe, but today's final game results may still result in UCF anywhere from 3-5. P5 cartel and all ...Let’s see what the final rankings are. UCF should be no lower than 3rd.
Yes, like all the other claims in this thread I’m sure that will be the case.
I like how you don’t ever provide what the tangible evidence will be for your nonsense but rather stick to broad claims that don’t ever come true.
If the next TV contract is yuge - at least we know who to blame.
Frost's dissing of the ConFLiCT Trophy is going to live on in UCF lore.Would it be a good idea to start a rivalry with UCF? Maybe a trophy? Just a thought..
They need to keep their top coaches in conference, and keep winning bowl matchups and regular season OOC games with the P5 teams. If HCRE does get our football program rolling (I know, a big if), or if UCF or Cincinnati are consistently ranked in the top ten, I can see the P5 picking off one or two teams just to sink the AAC back to where it started at. Great for UCF, Cincinnati or UConn but disastrous for the AAC as a whole.AAC is close to being back to where the Big East was? One could hope so.
The reaction could just as easily be that the P5 sees that too much talent is leaking out of the P5 and they gotta tighten it up by changing recruiting rules so that only they have a shot at the best players and coaches. I mean, if I was them and I controlled a cartel like they do, that is what I would do. And I would enlist my chief enabler ESPN to assist in that effort.
Edsall has seven spots left. This helped. But the opposite happened. The early signing period hurts the top programs who used to string kids along forever. You can expect more of this, not less.
Edsall and Lashlee already have the recruiting ball rolling. Jones and Krajewski are great recruits.Edsall to recruit. We play UCF next year. NOT, hey we play Missouri next year.
Conference legit. No other way to describe it.

Your a joke!
I recall in the past you called the AAC a dumpster fire on more than one occasion. Rather broad claim! Typical negative position.

Carl must be Irish. LolIt’s you’re and you’re a moran.
Do you like UConn or the AAC?
Do you not get that it’s teams from schools playing and not conferences?
Are you ever going to describe these nebulous benefits of winning a single football game?
Didn’t think so. Tool.

You shouldn't start the New Year so negative and depressed. You might want to get your serotonin levels checked. Maybe Zoloft or Prozac will help you. Happy New Year!

Someone's gotta spell this out for me.. is "moron" banned on the boards or is "moran" a reference to something that I am completely blind to that fills in for "moron". I see whaler post it a lot and I can't crack it and it's making me feel like a moran.
So I guess we shouldn't be surprised if there is a push to change the signing periods again. But the opposite happened. The early signing period hurts the top programs who used to string kids along forever. You can expect more of this, not less.
Line is all the way up to 12. Plenty of money to be made if all the UCF hype around here is true.
You guys live in a fantasy land.
These games are forgotten 20 seconds after they end.
Mr Aresco we were going to offer you eleventy billion dollars but Temple lost to FIU. So - NO DEAL!
LOL keep listening to guys like Darren Rovell.
171 million dollars. You may as well say it was worth 171 billion. It’s about as accurate.
Let me know when the 171 million dollars shows up instead of the 2 million dollars they get for the television rights to their games.
By this stupid logic UConn has gotten MILLIONS of dollars of exposure just for the attention to the Hurley saga. See how stupid that sounds now?
They now have probably lost money on this because they paid for this stupid study.
If this ‘value of exposure’ meant anything UConn women’s basketball would be worth more than the Cowboys, Giants, Yankees and Lakers combined.
