We are building a WBB pyramid because the UConn Mt. Rushmore doesn't do this school's deep history justice.

So what player belongs at the very top of the Pyramid as the glorious golden capstone?

This is too hard. First I think it's D, because of how she carried that team in 2003 and 2004. But then I think it's Stewie b/c she won 4, but she had some great teammates with her so is she really better than D. And how can you ignore Maya - she's all over the record books.

I’m an old one here but this is just a little perspective from me since i been around since the Lobo days.

Of the 3 leaders.

Maya had Tina, Renee, KG, and Tiff! Those 09-10 teams were pretty dominant.

Stewie had MoJeff, Tuck, KML, Stef, Bria, Gabby, Kia ( i mean come on—not mentioning Pheesa and KLS her senior year)

Diana!! What she did in that 03-04 years was magical. She for the most part was surrounded by role players who just did their job. Diana led the way!!

Paige, no question. She suffered more than any of them and never stopped working for the team. She also may have been the most inspirational teammate.

Also, statistically she’s at or near the top of many categories after adjusting for her shortened career.

These kinds of questions are essentially unanswerable because of the lack of any guiding criteria. If you like titles-Stewie, If you like heart, grace under fire, will to win-Dee & Paige, if you like big moment players-Dee, Paige, Maya, if you are talking best player, as in athleticism, all around effortless skills, naturally gifted etc-Maya would be my choice. I think Sarah will be in this conversation in the future (if not already) but for now, I’d have to say Maya Moore! (With Paige a very close second)

I already made one of these for myself. But I start with Mt. Storrs. Then Tier 1, Tier 2, etc.

For UCONN GOAT, you can make a case for DT, Moore or Stewart. And none of them would be wrong.

I haven't decided, completely, where I'm putting Bueckers yet. Either she's the 4th on Mt Storrs or Tier 1. Leaning towards Mt Storrs for now.
