Or the conference was not very deep, or SJU was underrated. But SJ was selected 9 pre season. They outplayed their selection more than we did

For all the people who keep bringing it up, what exactly is the Big East supposed to do? 3 coaches vote for Mamu, 3 for Gillespie, 3 for Robinson-Earl, what's that next step that the Big East is supposed to do?
He's probably a pyscho, though. He's got a mean left shoulder, too.Cage match. Gotta say I don't like Gillespie's chances.
UConn only played 2 games healthy against the conferences best teams10-9 is solid and SJU played more games than most ranked above them. In addition SJU beat most the top teams in the conference, and UConn I believe was 0-4 vs the conferences best teams. I can’t see the rationale.

"Them all" being 2. One we had the lead with 6 seconds left shooting Fts and the other was a road game at Nova. You guys lost by damn near 30 in your @Nova game. We didn't get Nova at home nor Johnnies when healthy.Yes and lost them all. And only played each one 1 time. UConn doesn’t have any Big East wins against any of the better big East teams. I can’t see how you throw stones at SJU with nothing on the resume’, and I’m not knocking UConn as I think they’re a good team.
...Why does it not make sense to knock a team for losing to bad teams? It's the reason you guys aren't in the tournament right now.Knocking SJU for losing to DePaul and Butler once doesn’t make sense.
or maybe coach got them to play better than expected and should be coyOr the conference was not very deep, or SJU was underrated.

I’m not sure how UConn has a resume’ for the tournament right now either. UConn has one decent win over USC and hasn’t beaten anybody else. I think both sju and UConn have to make a reasonable run in the BET. This season has been crazy and has not afforded most teams a lot of high quality Ooc games....Why does it not make sense to knock a team for losing to bad teams? You're failing badly.I’m not sure how UConn has a resume’ for the tournament right now either. UConn has one decent win over USC and hasn’t beaten anybody else. I bet his mom is still proud. Obviously more proud of Tyler, but still...Ben Hansborough was the 2011 Big East POY. Nobody cares now in 2021.
Ok? You'd agree that isnt a great sample size. no?and lost both
And one of them was coming off a 2.5 week covid pause with no practice, and the other was Bouknight's 2nd game back in over a month. We're better than both of those teamsUConn only played 2 games healthy against the conferences best teams
The neutral court USC win is better than any of your wins. You've got 2 Q1 wins... in 8 tries. We're 3-3 in Q1. That matters. We're 7-3 road/neutral, you're 5-7. Scoring margin also matters (although not as much as for seeding).I’m not sure how UConn has a resume’ for the tournament right now either. Nope.Ok? You'd agree that isnt a great sample size. no?
6 Q1/Q2 wins this year and the best player in the country missed half of the conference season. If Bouknight and Jackson were healthy all year, we would literally only have 2 losses. You're almost too stupid to insultI’m not sure how UConn has a resume’ for the tournament right now either. UConn has one decent win over USC and hasn’t beaten anybody else. Tons of “would haves” and excuses as to why UConn isn’t undefeated. I get it now.. I’ll play too. If SJU didn’t lose Figueroa right before the season to transfer we’d be undefeated too! 😂6 Q1/Q2 wins this year and the best player in the country missed half of the conference season. Virtually everyone disagrees with this take. Take a look around.I’m not sure how UConn has a resume’ for the tournament right now either. Well take a look for yourself. UConn has no quality Big East wins against the better teams. Zero. I guess that USC win is carrying you guys right now.Virtually everyone disagrees with this take. Take a look around.

what team is MCNPA repping? This is getting pretty pathetic.
St. John’s. And was merely defending what one poster said about SJU not having done anything with counterpoint.what team is MCNPA repping?
the difference is that you've had Champagnie in every conference game, whether you took out nova/uconn without our best player or dropping to depaul and butlerSt. John’s. And was merely defending what one poster said about SJU not having done anything with counterpoint.
