Security is using wands to scan every person entering. It takes forever to get into the arena this year.

I have been going in 45 minutes before tipoff and it's been quick. Gone are the days of being able to show up 10 mins prior to the game if you want to see the start of it. I remember the last Louisville game at xl a few years ago it took over half an hour to get in, and it was well below freezing that night. That was without the wands, can't imagine the same scenario now. Witchita State and Villanova will be marathons just trying to get in.

The attendance announced was 6,800 and change. I remember going to games in the 90's and 14-15k was considered a bad night.

Its been slow for years and I think its just mostly a staffing issue. I got to XL just before 4pm and waited I would guess 10 minutes to get in which is pretty much standard.

Agreed, playing so called "home games" in multiple aren's is silly. All of the best programs play on their campus.

It was slow. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to set up tables for giveaways (t-shirts, hats) right by the entrance. People were in lines to sign up for the freebies and it was not good, logistically.
