20th Aniversary Celebration of the 1999 Championship team on February 24th vs Cincy

They should arrange for Ajou Ajou Deng to sit on the bench.
Didn't Vitale say something like UConn's best player wasn't even suited up?

Just think - we get to do it again in 5 more years (maybe do a 20 year for the ‘04 and a 25 year for ‘99?), then again two more times down the road.

Somewhere in upstate NY a ‘Cuse alum is getting pumped for their one 20 year reunion in 4 years while wearing a washed up Melo jersey wondering where he’ll sign after he’s waived...again. Meanwhile Kemba’s starting the All-Star game and Ray is a HOFer.

It was Jim Nantz - during the broadcast of the championship game who said that.
I knew I wasn't imagining it, but as I said earlier, we were in such a drunken state, that Red Dog was somehow a good idea.

And Rip will be in the house too...

Confirmed...

Coach K thinking "Is this hug too long? It feels awkward, but I'm not sure."

Can't wait - something to really look forward to
Worth the season ticket price - at least this year's cost won't seem wasted
My son and I have been waiting for this reunion since they started talking about it last spring

I often wonder whether there was any play other than dribble into traffic and flop. I love Langdon's look back at the ref. It is pretty much the same expectant look my dog gives me when she thinks she's getting a treat.

The 1999 National Championship provided great moments for a program rising from the ashes of pre-1985 to the glory of being the TOP DOG. Those who followed that 14 year journey know the hard work of all who contributed over that span. I'm very thankful to all involved for being in Tampa to witness that joyous weekend where the road ended in 1999 and we were #1.

Our chances of winning this one look much smaller now than they did in the moments following our last game vs Cincy. If the AD had money we’d probably see throwback uniforms. Instead they are hawking $30 replicas of the championship T-shirts.

Just bought a T-shirt for me and my dad. I cant wait to wear them to the game on Saturday. It would be a nice twist if they wore the 1999 throwback uniforms for the game.

I kind of figured Ricky wouldnt be there because of everything that happened. Its just sad because he played such a huge part in winning that championship, and all of those guys deserve to be honored for that. Hopefully things get better and he can be there when UConn honors that team for the 25th anniversary.
