Hull was going nuts, had 18 at the half and the Fever had a slight lead at the half. She came back to earth, Boston and Howard aren't doing much, McBride having a big game and looking like the Lynx are gonna get back to their winning ways after a little hiccup.

Wilson was an absolute monster that year too and dominated Stewart in the playoffs. No doubt to me that she was the best player then and still is now.Stewies last MVP definitely belonged to AT smh .
It's a revolving door in Indy right now. We signed Bibby as the 12th player with funds opened up from losing Bonner, and now Bibby is being replaced by Powers 😖
On top of that, Austin had one of her better games in weeks (18 points), but barely corralled any rebounds. Wilson was just too much for both of them. Citron scored 13 but couldn't get more than 7 shots off. Credit LV's guards for making life hard.Wilson's 36/13 overshadows a nice game for Iriafen--21/15.
Collier, Wilson and Thomas are almost guaranteed to finish Top 3 in MVP voting this season, in some order. The w over the years has been blessed with a number of exceptional elite players deserving of the MVP
AT is one of those players and this season is demonstrating that she has earned the MVP
However she's playing in the Wilson era and there's absolutely no doubt that Wilson earned and deserved her previous MVPs and is once again as she always does having another MVP season.
This season they are 1A and !B

The latter two data points (pts. scored, rebounds grabbed) go a long way to explaining the (most) double-doubles. Congrats, Tina.Tina had 23/10 in Connecticut's win. She now has 200 double-doubles, the most ever in the W. She is also 2nd in career scoring and 1st in career rebounding.
I’m figuring Tina has another solid 3-4 seasons in the W. I’ve been lobbying for her to spend those seasons in Dallas with Paige as a free agent signee. Add in a few other solid additions and the Wings could go from bad to good very quickly.Tina had 23/10 in Connecticut's win. She now has 200 double-doubles, the most ever in the W. What's always been confusing to me about Charles is that her individual success has generally not translated to the teams she's been on. She had a couple good seasons with the Liberty, but for the most part, minimal post-season success, and every team she's joined recently has foundered relative to expectations while she's been on it (Mystics, then Phoenix, then Seattle, then Atlanta, now Connecticut - the last one probably being about as good as expected).Tina had 23/10 in Connecticut's win. Yeah, I’d love to see Tina go to a team that might threaten to win a championship. What's always been confusing to me about Charles is that her individual success has generally not translated to the teams she's been on. By all accounts, she's a great person, a great teammate, and a legit veteran presence. What gives?

Tina did win 3 Olympic gold medals. I think those count as championships…..Yeah, I’d love to see Tina go to a team that might threaten to win a championship.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect Tina has had an opportunity to "chase the ring" so to speak, but more as a complimentary piece, than a featured part of the offense. There was speculation a few years back about joining the Aces when they were top contenders, but that didn't go anywhere.Yeah, I’d love to see Tina go to a team that might threaten to win a championship.
Amazing - ageless and I wonder how Phoenix failed to incorporate her. A pre million dollar coach FUBAR and one that, along with the Sandy Brondello decision, haunts all Merc fans.Tina had 23/10 in Connecticut's win. She now has 200 double-doubles, the most ever in the W. She is also 2nd in career scoring and 1st in career rebounding.
Yes, in defense of the officials, it must be a real headache to call a Suns game, talk about a gang that could have trained under CCT - they LOVE contact and LOVE to administer it led by the chief bouncer, that Notre Dame WWE guard. After watching that Sky/Sun game, Coach Marsh was correct to crash out the way he did. I get it that refs are going to miss some calls but the way the Sun player was grabbing and holding Elizabeth Williams. Clearly a foul should have been called. Even the defender knew she was fouling and shocked that a whistle wasn't called. I am sure the refs are getting rating for game performance and hopefully they are calling any of the WNBA Final games. It is going to be bad enough with them calling playoff games.
I agree - she really is playing amazing.I’m figuring Tina has another solid 3-4 seasons in the W. I’ve been lobbying for her to spend those seasons in Dallas with Paige as a free agent signee. Add in a few other solid additions and the Wings could go from bad to good very quickly.
Tina will be an unrestricted free agents following this season.I agree - she really is playing amazing.
Rather than sentencing her to Dallas (a gulag that may take many, many years) I'd love to see how the million dollar coach would incorporate her - trade Mack, Laska, Held, and a third round pick (I mean, this is Dallas) and let us see if Nate can match wits with Tina.
This assumes that the CBA gets done and allows for more "flexibility" with an increased soft salary cap.

Geez. Fortunately it's a sprain but it still sucks.
Seeing as how Golden State plays them in an hour, and our playoff hopes are very much on the fence, from your lips to the woofing gods' ears... Any given game, Paige can go off for 44..The Wings were not a very good team to begin with. But all the injuries they’ve sustained have really sapped any competitive chance they might have hoped for.
As will everyone else. I would hope if the million dollar coach wanted to give Tina a shot he'd be smart enough how to figure that out.Tina will be an unrestricted free agents following this season.
Wonder what Vegas knows that we don't. The Valkyries are only a one-point favorite and the ESPN matchup predictor is favoring the home Wing.Seeing as how Golden State plays them in an hour, and our playoff hopes are very much on the fence, from your lips to the woofing gods' ears... Well if the GOAT could play into her 40s I don't see any reason why Tina can't put four more years on the court. Perhaps this goes the calculus into where she lands. If Tina plays 4 more years and averages 14 ppg, she will pass Taurasi as the all-time leading scorer.
