Mystics play the Fever at a larger arena in Baltimore on Wed. Caitlin will be out, but I think Liya is expected back for Washington.

It would be great if Hamby and Stevens were both in scoring mode during a game, however some credit should go to Atlanta as they play tough inside. The addition of Jones has been paying off so far. Not to mention, they're playing with a depleted roster with both Canada and Griner out.Looks like Dream led most of the way against the Sparks, late rally fell short. Gray led the way w/ 25. Hamby and Plum scored 28 and 27 but didn't get enough help from the rest of the team. I think Hamby and Stevens are drawing straws before the games to see which one will be in scoring mode. Would be nice if they both got going at the same time.
She played and (IMO) looked really good.Liya played last game. I believe limited minutes but she played

Hillmon's showing she's got range from 3 (Seriously Coach Arico - why was this never leveraged?!?!?). Coffey is playing well too. Adding Shatori Walker to the roster was another good move. Now let's see how they do against teams like NY and the Lynx to see if they can be competitive with the top teams.
Griner has a left knee injury.
- Why is Griner out and what's the issue?
- Jones is, not surprisingly, playing tough.
- Hillmon continues to grow. I've been keeping track of her since she was in high school (at one point there was mutual interest between she and ND...ugh) and the mid- to long-game wasn't anything I recall from any footage. I''ll bet that's been a gradual development, as it has been for a number of bigs (Gustafson, elder Westbeld, etc.)
This. She's likely being load managed to an extent. Her last game was Saturday against Dallas. Next game is Friday against Seattle, so maybe she'll play then.Griner has a left knee injury.
They looked about what I expected, and I expect more losses for the Fever as long as KM shoots 4-16 and Aliyah gets frozen out (thanks, DB).The Fever looked worse than I expected without Caitlin.
My pregame worry was they couldn’t get the ball to Aliya without Caitlin. She only got 5 shots tonightThe Fever looked worse than I expected without Caitlin.
Lucy did sink the 3's tonight, but for the Mystics not the Liberty...The non-UConn Big East players have played well the last two nights. Hiedeman was her normal self and Siegrist looks like she’s found her place in thw W (playing with Paige).
Lucy Olsen just got a few minutes for the Liberty tonight, but she sank two corner threes, I think within 30 seconds of each other.
This will be a cool pic to add to the Westbeld's family album. Still wild to me that they're both rookies.
Oops, brain fart.Lucy did sink the 3's tonight, but for the Mystics not the Liberty...
Maybe they can borrow Angel with some sort of 10 day contract with the Sky. Everyone knows they're interchangeable. The Fever looked worse than I expected without Caitlin.
They looked like I expected a team to look without their key player. I think they will look a little better against the Sun, now that they got a game under their belt without Clark. The Fever looked worse than I expected without Caitlin.
The draft odds for the non-playoff teams are determined by the team records over the last 2 seasons. So just tanking this season won't guarantee anything. Still, worst case is probably a top 5 pick (assuming the expansion teams draft after the non-playoff teams again next year) and the team with the best odds doesn't always get the #1 pick.Yikes!! Injuries and illness cannot be controlled, but I’m hoping they get the W. Also, a little part of me is thinking that at the end of the season when the sun sets, the CT Sun will probably get the #1 or a high pick in the draft.
PS: It’s still early in the season, so ……
I've had the unfortunate luck of missing the reason each time it's been mentioned tonight. Dang multi-tasking for work.Liberty and Valkyries in a tight one. Anyone know why JJ isn't playing?

Also Connecticut traded their 2026 1st pick to Chicago as a part of the Mabrey trade. The draft odds for the non-playoff teams are determined by the team records over the last 2 seasons. Hammy issue.Liberty and Valkyries in a tight one. Anyone know why JJ isn't playing?
Golden State looked waaay better this game compared to their first meeting with New York,GS played NYL very tight, but lost in the last minute or so. GS moves the ball and plays energetic defense. Much better than the prior (28-point) loss.
