Oh you havent been paying close attention. In 2020-21 Detroit Mercy had 13.
There were at least 5-10 programs that year that had more than 10.

The six-figure amounts being offered to these players are crazy. One SEC out-bid another SEC school by $300k for a player. The bidding for that player probably hasn't stopped!

I know that in Fall sports like soccer, football, and volleyball, SEC players who enter the first portal window in December can transfer to schools in any conference, including to another SEC school and be immediately eligible for the following season. But, if SEC player enters the second (Spring) portal window, if they transfer to another SEC school, they are not immediately eligible and must sit out one season.

She's really good. Sad about this. I thought she was destined for a good sophomore year. But they do have Davidson coming in. It would be cool for her to go to Michigan. Team Canada over there. Lol.

Surprising because she was up there with Kennedy Smith acting all rah rah go team go during their ESPN interview before our game, and then less than 48 hours later she's outta there. There really is no loyalty left. Makes me wonder what the incentive is to go to any school when you're being recruited out of high school. Perhaps just cutting to the chase and asking for that bag right off the bat is the most honest approach even if you've never played a single college game.

In addition to USC, Howell had Utah, Washington, Indiana and Duke on her finalist list. She could go a long way toward curing Teri Moren's heartburn this off season. Same for Ivey and just about any other coach in the country. She can flat shoot it and is a great passer. Her AAU running mate Brynn McGoughy is at Washington. Not sure that would sway her, but it's the closest to Boise, Idaho where she is from. I've paid attention to all this because she also had a Vanderbilt offer. As far as I can tell, she never gave the Dores a second thought.
