Oh you havent been paying close attention. In 2020-21 Detroit Mercy had 13.I don’t think I’ve ever seen this done on the women’s side, when a mass exodus happens to a program. Other than asking a coach why a certain player transferred out. But I hope it happens. We won’t get the truth but it will be fun to watch
As far as I can tell, coachjumper was the coach of his team at the Y. Needless, Tennessee did not him up on his offer. Not really. I’ll let you know if I make the team.Pray for me.
what player? The six-figure amounts being offered to these players are crazy. One SEC out-bid another SEC school by $300k for a player. The bidding for that player probably hasn't stopped!
Yup. I don’t see how they can get commitments when no one knows where the breakdown occurred. The brand is intact. Quality education? Check. So it’s either the coach or the player(s). The truth is always better than speculation where every Twitter user and youtuber has THE tea (lol) on the who what when where and why. AND…they all have different stories, but from the same Reddit user. lmaoAgree. Having spent a lot of time in Crisis Management, you've got to get ahead of it and she's already knee deep in it.
Her athletic director should be joining her in a press conference ASAP.
If you start with Heckel, Kennedy Smith, and jazzy Davidson… that’s not a bad platform to build around imo.Wow! This essentially means that 4/5 players who started for USC against UConn on Monday night will be gone next season, not to mention JuJu, who’s likely to miss the entire season. Lindsay Gottlieb has her work cut out for her. Never fear, those deep pockets that brought in Iriafen & TVO will do it again.
If you stay with the BONEYARD.... you still won't be able to tell whenNot that I'm aware of. Can't tell if you are joking.
I know that in Fall sports like soccer, football, and volleyball, SEC players who enter the first portal window in December can transfer to schools in any conference, including to another SEC school and be immediately eligible for the following season. But, if SEC player enters the second (Spring) portal window, if they transfer to another SEC school, they are not immediately eligible and must sit out one season.
This is a loss, Howell can really play. Watkins and Kennedy Smith will have to get out on the social media recruiting trail.Wow! someone is joking.... welcome to the club!
The crazy thing is don't they already have Oldacre, Carlton, Moore, Nwenentanda (sp) coming back. Lol. This is what I don't like about the arms race. I get it, you need to replace Taylor Jones, and you have deep pockets but geez. Lol.Which player is this?
Allegedly Samayah Smith was offered 300K from a Texas school…
NCAA has lost the plot. The portal in combination with NIL unregulated has turned sports into a mess
She's really good. Sad about this. I thought she was destined for a good sophomore year. But they do have Davidson coming in. It would be cool for her to go to Michigan. Team Canada over there. Lol.Holy crap. Thought she was the best, or 2nd best, of that heralded freshman class. Thought she'd have a big role going forward.
InterestingOne thing to watch: do players that had a lot of travel this year decide it's too much?
And there is another USC freshmen rumored to be leaving as well.Holy crap. Thought she was the best, or 2nd best, of that heralded freshman class. Thought she'd have a big role going forward.
In addition to USC, Howell had Utah, Washington, Indiana and Duke on her finalist list. She could go a long way toward curing Teri Moren's heartburn this off season. Same for Ivey and just about any other coach in the country. She can flat shoot it and is a great passer. Her AAU running mate Brynn McGoughy is at Washington. Not sure that would sway her, but it's the closest to Boise, Idaho where she is from. I've paid attention to all this because she also had a Vanderbilt offer. As far as I can tell, she never gave the Dores a second thought.Holy crap. Thought she was the best, or 2nd best, of that heralded freshman class. Thought she'd have a big role going forward.
Howell has been linked to TCU per some of the rumors out there. In addition to USC, Howell had Utah, Washington, Indiana and Duke on her finalist list. Or maybe ALL the players are contacted, and this is just indicating which were responsive. I'm only halfway joking. At this point its become fairly obvious which players are already contacted before leaving
