I think Adams and Furphy are more likely to play PG minutes than Solo. With Adams the case is obvious (as long as he adds a few pounds of muscle), and as for Furphy, he's probably going to be the best passer on the team from Day 1. And Hurley certainly sees him as a guard, not a forward:



He'll probably be more of a Cam-type of secondary facilitator than a Tristen-type of lead guard, but everything I've heard and seen is that this is a kid who should have the ball in his hands as much as possible, and who's got a real feel for orchestrating the offense.

I think we are saying the same thing. Adams is the backup PG. Solo is the spot minutes ball handler there if needed. I see Furphy as a point forward, more like Castle or even Cam. You play him at SF because that’s his defensive position, but he’s a facilitator in the offense. Also because we have no minutes open at SG between Ball and Mullins. It all comes back to positional flexibility. Lots to like here.

Solo improves his handle and ability to drive the rim and dish and that makes him a complete player. He already makes the 3, the midrange and rebounds. Solo is on the verge of stardom.

Reibe and Adams are not starting barring an injury. They’re both behind very talented players. Mullins is dependent on other additions but would be surprise to start as well.

Kemba. Villanueva (Boone started instead). Hazelton shouldn’t count. Ray should count - but he was just below McDs cutoff.

This would be an interesting get for us. He would definitely fill in our back PG position and be the 6th man on our team.

After watching Cryer and other point guards lead teams. Having a great PG is very important. We would have 2 like our past championship teams including 2024 which we basically had 3.
