Iowa State moves a tad faster than Penn State. That was fast!!!

so....now Wazzu needs a coach - Hey former UConn coach! how funny would that be. wasn't that one of his dream jobs, or did he have so many?

Sometimes things that look like a catastrophy when they sideswipe you turn out to have a silver lining after a few days or weeks to marinate. That could be the case for us.

I think i posted this today, but this guy is 46 and 81-44 as an FBS coach. Consider our last 2 hires came from the unemployment line. The previous 2 were coordinators one a retread the other a wacko. I would have been happy with a recently fired FBS coach. I just wanted someone with a proven track record of running a competent FBS program. To get a guy that young, with that much winning who has never been fired, that is WAY more than I expected.

He is 16-27 against top 25 teams. Sounds like another Franklin.
Even after OUT departed to SEC, sounds as though someone is unaware of Iowa State’s NIL challenges relative to much of its Big XII and other P4 competition.

Crazy thought, Campbell, as would many other coaches, will likely benefit from purportedly $30m NIL now committed in State College.

Right it is just money. That is why Miami and FSU keep losing the big games. lol

Matt Applebaum, former UConn Olineman during RE V1 just got let go as BC OLine coach.

This whole coaching thing really sucks in terms of timing. I’m watching these Conference Championship games and you have UNT who had an amazing season playing against Tulane who also had a great season in the AAC Championship game and neither team has the head coach that built these teams. I switch over to the JMU game and it’s the same thing for JMU. It just sucks all around for the kids and the fans. I’m not sure on this part but didn’t players who entered the portal to go with their coach sit out of these games? If that happened, you now have these conference championship games without their key players too? It’s one thing when it’s a worthless bowl game, I just don’t get the timing of it and why it can be done before the season/championship games are done.

FWIW, Chesney is still coaching JMU tonight.

Sumral future FL HC, still at Tulane coaching the AAC Champ game signed 18 at Florida and 13 at Tulane and I assume will coach playoffs if they are in. Just sayin’.
