That's a damn home run. So much for bungling the hire
You think he is a top 10 college head coach?I think Campbell is a very good hire.
It's not easy to win at Iowa State.
He is 16-27 against top 25 teams. Sounds like another Franklin. That's a damn home run. So much for bungling the hire
No. What james franklin did at Vanderbilt is more impressiveYou think he is a top 10 college head coach?
Nope.He is 16-27 against top 25 teams. Sounds like another Franklin.
Campbell is legit. It's a great hire and better fit.Nope.
-Routinely had Iowa St punching above its weight
-Lauded in the college football world for how well he runs his program
-Great talent evaluator and developer
-One of the better offensive minds in college football
-With mediocre talent he finshed 1st in Big12 2x, 3rd behind Texas and Oklahoma 2x last 7 seasons
-Loyalty to a fault was the only thing that kept him in Ames for so long
-Well documented interest from NFL and multiple P2 programs last 5 years
Watch what this guy can/will accomplish with top tier talent
Iowa State moves a tad faster than Penn State. That was fast!!!
so....now Wazzu needs a coach - Hey former UConn coach! how funny would that be. wasn't that one of his dream jobs, or did he have so many?
Even after OUT departed to SEC, sounds as though someone is unaware of Iowa State’s NIL challenges relative to much of its Big XII and other P4 competition. He is 16-27 against top 25 teams. Sounds like another Franklin.
Right it is just money. That is why Miami and FSU keep losing the big games. lolEven after OUT departed to SEC, sounds as though someone is unaware of Iowa State’s NIL challenges relative to much of its Big XII and other P4 competition.
Crazy thought, Campbell, as would many other coaches, will likely benefit from purportedly $30m NIL now committed in State College.
FWIW, Chesney is still coaching JMU tonight. This whole coaching thing really sucks in terms of timing. I’m watching these Conference Championship games and you have UNT who had an amazing season playing against Tulane who also had a great season in the AAC Championship game and neither team has the head coach that built these teams. I switch over to the JMU game and it’s the same thing for JMU. It just sucks all around for the kids and the fans. I’m not sure on this part but didn’t players who entered the portal to go with their coach sit out of these games? If that happened, you now have these conference championship games without their key players too? It’s one thing when it’s a worthless bowl game, I just don’t get the timing of it and why it can be done before the season/championship games are done.
I just saw this in the post game.Sumral future FL HC, still at Tulane coaching the AAC Champ game signed 18 at Florida and 13 at Tulane and I assume will coach playoffs if they are in. Just sayin’.
That’s where I got it.I just saw this in the post game.
