Agreed.wow. ty for sharing.
that is a ridiculous firing. what was this school expecting?
this guy has delivered in the past, on a level playing field. sheesh
They are 9-20 over the last 3 years. It certainly looks like it's been going downhill for a whileAgreed.
Most people in the country have never heard of Kennesaw State, until he upset 6-2 Liberty this year. I don't know what these ADs or fan bases expect sometimes...
Pretty smart in the scope of things - Norvell’s buyout is +/- $65m - the 3 scapegoat coaches total $8.5m w/ provisions for offsetting salaries.Fire everyone but the leader.... so stupid.

USC owes Riley a 60MM buyout. He’s not going anywhere. What’s the opposite of a hot seat? Your phone blowing up with suitors?
1) Cignetti. Indians isn’t a tier 1 job but they have BiG money now. Some tier 1 schools that might be looking for a coach — USC, Florida, PennSt, OhioSt, LSU.
2) Lashlee. From G5 to possible CFP appearance. Above teams plus Ole Miss (if Kiffin gets a better job), Auburn, Oklahoma.
3) Army. At 10+ years he’s probably an academy lifer.
4) Mora? Definitely has turned things around. Could have appeal not at tier 1, but mid/lower p4.
Who else?
I thought the same until I read that he signed an 8 year $80 something million contract extension last year. That firing ain't happening.Fire everyone but the leader.... so stupid.
Norvell is a great coach. FSU was a national championship caliber team last year. He built that team quickly. They lost 46 players and replaced them. The chemistry isn’t there and the QB play has been awful. He’ll fix it. You don’t fire a coach that has his short history in Tallahassee. I’m in Tally right now and no one I’ve come across thinks he should be fired.I thought the same until I read that he signed an 8 year $80 something million contract extension last year. Not so good is about as positive a spin as any I have heard for this FSU team.A QB can be the difference between good and not so good coach/team.
Idk being 1-9 at a school like FSU is wildNorvell is a great coach. FSU was a national championship caliber team last year. He built that team quickly. They lost 46 players and replaced them. This actually may be the worst take in sports historyNorvell is a great coach. FSU was a national championship caliber team last year. He built that team quickly. 0.00000000001% chanceThoughts on Mora to the Jets? Possible?

He earned a lot of good will with last year.Idk being 1-9 at a school like FSU is wild
Travis sucked before Norvell got there. He didn’t cut it at Louisville and he wasn’t very good in Norvell’s first year but they got him up to speed. Travis credits Norvell with his development.Without Travis, Norvell is 19-25.
Assuming FSU's woes continue into next season, I wonder how many losses (maybe 4 tops?) the AD will tolerate before getting rid of Norvell. I don't mean to rain on billybud, but I find it so gratifying that the school that staunchly lobbied against us in the ACC is sucking worse than we did. At least we had excuses (bad coaches, poorly funded team, lowly rated players)...what are FSU's reasons? He earned a lot of good will with last year.
But this is such a dumpster fire that he easily gave it all back this year.
I mean 1-9. And not even in the SEC.
I kinda think at 0-2, the team quit.
Name me a really good coach, in any college sport, that had a disaster like this mid career.

they are having a terrible year, period. They do not suck worse than we did.
