Coaches cannot do that unless they have signed LOIs. The player has to announce "verbals".My birthday is the day after Christmas, I open all my presents on Christmas day. I have always hated surprises. Wish Coach Pehrson would just come out and tell us who it is!
I understand that a LOI needs to be signed, but isn't this the early signing period? Or was the signing period only last week?Coaches cannot do that unless they have signed LOIs. The player has to announce "verbals".

Interesting… I figured he had a home when the rumors surfaced that he decommitted from UConn:
Could be, and Librado Barocio may be a helpful contact. Ex-UCLA player during Mora's time in Westwood, ex-Fresno State grad assistant, and current UConn grad assistant.I always find it interesting when players from teams UConn played get interest from UConn and express interest in UConn. Players aren't always fools and they know at the end of the game what type of opponent they played. It's a sign of respect to look to transfer to a program who beat you that season.
Now if we can only get more of them to commitI always find it interesting when players from teams UConn played get interest from UConn and express interest in UConn. Or at least announce their commitments as there are at least two out there the coaches have signaled that we haven't had the player announce yet.Now if we can only get more of them to commit

Looks like he played for BYU last year and played well for both Vandy and BYU. Also, he was born in New York city, so I wonder if he has extended family in the northeast.
This is funny because once I saw Colorado on the list I instantly thought that we were out and he was going there. I know not every recruit can go to CU but with Deion there now it's hard to not see anyone with an offer turn it down.
Someone said on the FB board that we can't officially sign anyone because we don't have free spots. Players can still commit. I wonder if there aren't any announcements from players because they are kind of in a holding pattern? Just a thought but I have no clue.Or at least announce their commitments as there are at least two out there the coaches have signaled that we haven't had the player announce yet.
