2023 Recruiting Thread

I believe they were offered by UConn and decided to accept an offer from another school.

Amir Renwick is a 6-2 210lb DB from Baltimore Maryland attending Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville Kansas. Other offers from Nebraska and New Mexico State.

Highlights
Amir Renwick is visiting campus today - since UConn offered he now holds additional offers from Buffalo, Colorado, Liberty, Kent State, Murray State, North Texas, Rhode Island, Stony Brook, Texas State, Toledo, Towson, Troy, SMU and Washington State.

Colorado huh? Can Mora beat out Ragin Sanders?

Renwick highlights: Pretty strong against the run, not too many highlights for middle and deep balls. Definitely plays with physicality. Should be a two deep player should he land here.

fingers crossed we see a bat signal real soon... Classes just started... maybe we get him in class in time for Spring practice (if he commits)... Right now, we need our D as ready as possible... Our offense has a ton of questions...

We seem heavy on portal additions in the secondary already - unless we are grabbing a P5 stud back there I feel it's more important that we land some LBs and a bigger RB. This kid does have an offer from Nebraska as well though.

I agree, but we are landing good DBs because of Mora's extensive experience as a DB coach in the NFL. Some of them appear big enough to be hybrid linebacker/DB and maybe we can play a 3-3-5 defensive scheme like TCU did most of the year. Having a short yardage/ blocking FB could come from someone who is already on the roster that gets converted from TE or LB to a big RB/FB.

Medic, a couple of updates to the list:

#1) Jordan Hall to Georgia 12/22/22
#11) Durell Robinson - Charlotte 1/3/23
#26) Tyler Scott - Auburn 1/7/23
