Unless you get to the national championship game, the season always ends a little early with some disappointment. It has been an amazing season for UConn baseball, especially considering there were many question marks about this team about who would fill what roles at the beginning of the season. I have followed almost every game as much as possible. I'm quite proud about what has happened for UConn baseball this season, even if it all ends tonight, as it is looking like it will at this point of the game.

I think the ninth inning Saturday killed us. Our pitchers (Chudoba excluded) appeared to be afraid of the strike zone.

Disappointing game. Had our chance put put a big number up in the 1st, and then again two innings later and didn't capitalize. We definitely had our chances to win this.

With that being said, it was a great season for us and hopefully will just propel us even further for the future. Easy team to root for and represented UConn very well!

Bottom 6th, Kirby hits the leadoff hitter, and Donlan picks him off. If the season ends tonight for UConn, an appropriate ending play for Donlan in probably his last game with the Huskies with that arm of his behind the plate.

Seems like every Stanford half of the inning takes an hour.

Bottom 6th, Stanford loads the bases with 1 out. Kirby gets a strikeout for the second out and a ground out for the third out to get out of the inning with no runs coming in. 9-4.
