Tight strike zone continues for Peterson. MacDonald is going to blow a gasket if this continues.

Top 2nd, Peterson in a jam with runners on the corners with no out.

If Peterson has to come out early, potentially it could put quite a bit of work on the UConn bullpen today and possibly tomorrow.

Long sac fly makes it 3-1 Stanford. 1 out now.

TC steals a home run from Brock Jones!!

Every time Peterson gets a second strike on a batter his next pitch isn't close to the zone.

Our batter's need to realize that with a tight strike zone there is no reason to chase.

Simmons!!!!! Awesome!!!!!!

Padilla needed to be there backing up.

Man they are killing us in the gaps

57 pitches with one out in the second inning.

This is what you were afraid of after we couldn't keep them off the board in the late innings yesterday.

Peterson needs to go. It's not his night.

Padilla needed to be there backing up.
Asking too much. He can’t get to that side of the bag. In college, only one guy covers until they see there is no hitter contact. That ball skipped right and to the 2B side, no chance for Padilla to get there.

Petersen obviously doesn’t have it. Get him out now in case UConn needs him for an inning or two tomorrow
Are you watching the game? He isn’t getting hit hard. He’s getting squeezed and giving up weak bloop hits. And there is exactly 0 chance he pitches tomorrow.

We just need him to keep battling and try to get us 4 innings.

everything finding a hole. This reminds me of the 1st Nebraska game a few years back in Oklahoma.

Fudge three run Homer

On the replay it was clear he was jogging into position to backup. As soon as the pitch made it to Donlan Padilla should have sprinted to backup the play.

You’re right, he is not getting hit hard.
