Men 2022 NCAA Baseball Tourney (Non UConn Games)

5 of 9 SEC teams left in the tournament. De-facto 7 if you include Oklahoma and Texas. If there is any chance of opening up more bids for the Big East or other leagues (aside from UConn advancing), is it preferable that they lose in this round or does it not matter? Is the perception and money aspect so baked in that they will always have 8-10 bids? Or is this totally wrong and they absolutely should get 9 bids and the Big East really should only get 1.

The games are fun to watch and a lot of good baseball is being played. However, please explain why batters dive to first on close plays. I was always told that running is quicker than diving. On top of that, diving opens them up to more injuries although young men probably never think they could be injured.

I am rooting for every non-ACC, non-SEC team to win alongside UConn which means East Carolina, Southern Miss and Oregon State.

ECU was so close to finishing texas…damn
funny goat GIF

There is a very good chance that the CWS is going to be the UConn/Stanford winner versus 7 SEC teams in Omaha (if you include TX and OK as SEC teams, as they will be in a year or two). Absolutely insane.

That would likely be a crowd advantage if the Huskies win one of the next two- any fans not rooting for their own team would probably back us underdogs over a hated intra-league rival.
