theres a rumor in upstate NY that Syracuse pulled a scholarship offer the night before the NLOI of a RB from Ohio because he showed up to a scheduled meeting with a SU assistant coach drunk

Any notion who that was?

Strange rumor because a meeting the night before the NLI Early Signing period (12/17?) would be an NCAA violation because it’s a Dead Period.

Durante Jones is a 6-2 170lb DB from Mays High School in Atlanta Georgia. Other offers from Akron, ArkState, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, Delaware State, Eastern Tennessee State, Howard, Kansas, Kent State, Kentucky, Liberty, Marshall, Ohio, South Alabama, Tennessee State, Toledo, Troy, UAB (Decommitted 11/25), UNLV, Western Michigan and BC.

Kinda thought we moved on from him. 247 doesn't really track our recruits too closely either. They only update if there's a commit, but never update anything else unless a recruit is one that is considered higher tier

Fair point on 247 but are you saying the coaching staff moved on from him? How come? Seems we could use another LB

UConn offers JUCO Tre Wortham 6'0 184lb CB from Stockton CA (Bear Creek HS). Tre played two years at San Joaquin Delta Community College also is in Stockton CA. I believe he would have three years to play two.


2018-2019 Freshman Highlights

Delta Community College stats as a freshman: 37 tackles/5 interceptions/1 forced fumble and as a sophomore .44 tackles/1 interception/1 forced fumble

Zyskowski just restarted following Tyler Berrong aka #1 on 'Medic's big board of 2020 uncommitted kids.
 
Five slots remaining....could be:
1) Cobbs or TBD grad at RB
2) Tre Wortham or TBD grad at CB
3) Durante Jones or TBD HS at CB
4) Owen Snively looks like the top target at OL, but might go grad OL judging by all the recent twitter follows by the staff. The competition for Snively will be tough.
5) Wildcard slot, looks like they are targeting either a HS LB or a grad LB. They have been following some recent grad LBs...probably the latter.

Hope you're right. He's the guy with the unbelievable closing speed isn't he? The one that came from 10 yards back and across the field to catch a receiver in about 30-40 yards in his video if I recall correctly. What a safety or corner he'd make.
 
Ut oh, Syracuse has entered the ring. Dont think he has an offer from Syracuse yet. He did visit BC on 12/10 and apparently didnt come away with an offer.
