P5 schools are typically looking for more size out of high school. A school like UConn is a development program, so we are looking to develop players which means adding size and strength. And, most P5 scholarships are committed so late developing linemen don't have many P5 options. That is the opportunity for a school like UConn.I would be a crap recruiter apparently.
How does this kid not have P5 offers.
6-7 250 and moves that well and plays nasty.
I don’t get it. This one goes new the top of the list for me

I checked 24/7. Out of the top 200 rated OTs, only two 250lbs or less had committed to P5 programs and they were ranked 107 and 127. No top 100 ranked OT was listed as 250 lbs or less.
For example, look at the size of the BC and Penn St. OL in the last 2 recruiting classes:
BC: 6'7" 275, 6'7" 275, 6'4" 275, 6'7" 289, 6'4" 275, 6'5" 315
Penn St.: 6'7" 295, 6'5" 320, 6'5" 290, 6'6" 345, 6'5" 288, 6'5" 290. 6'3" 318
These kids also willing accept a PWO from a big SEC school over full scholarship up north or at a FCS school. In-state tuition is so cheap that it is not a financial burden.Great stuff... I can't speak for Rewster, but I feel like this Mitchum kid is pretty likely to find himself with a P5 offer by Feb if he waits it out. He looks to be at the bottom of the rungs of what P5 schools eventually scoop up after they run through their process. That all said, I'd much rather we land him than some bottom level P5.
Thought I would post LB prospect and perhaps secret commit Desmond Fogle’s senior tape. Looks like he got stronger and faster vs his junior tape.
Getting closer to confirmation?
Looks like we missed this one. Quay Evans is a 6'2.5''/ 278lb DT from Chester SC. Evans has offers from Maryland, Oregon (he posted the actual Oregon offer graphic on 8/2), UCF, Liberty, Georgia Southern, WVU, Virginia,
I have reason to believe he visited this weekend based on twitter activity, but no smoking gun just yet.
HUDL Sr.-Quay Evans 6'3 280 DL
Two Chester County standouts have been chosen to represent S.C. in the 2019 Shrine Bowl. Chester DT Quay Evans and Lewisville WR/QB/DB/KR Demetric Hardin were just announced for the annual all-star game. Congrats to both. #schsfb
Story on his junior season- where he finished the year with WV and Oregon offering.
@huskymedany word on whether or not we've offered WR/DB Konata Mumpfield?
COACHES‼️Getting close to the end you need great player to help yall out, Especially player who are fast and can move the chain, Players who fight for extra yards even when the odds are stacked against them So go ahead and recruit the best @konata_b https://post original url/5NVxwIQvDY
Either way. It’s good news.Hmmm, well great so is that for Fogle or do we have someone really new? I was expecting no commitment tweets from Randy this morning because Fogle was probably one of the prior announcements that laid low.
Instant muscle.... had strong interest from Oregon in the summer. Perhaps Dalmonte Gourdine and Eric Watts had some influence here.
The places I go on the internet late at nightNice work earlier...

I was just wondering if we reached the point we might want to fill the rest of the class with JUCOs and grad transfers. The Portal really is making the idea of 5th years being contributors antiquatedSo we have nine slots left. I'm thinking we might see a single HS OL, a Corner and one more LB and then the remaining six slots filled by the JUCO/grad transfer market. In the transfer market I think we are looking for a center, corner, RB, LB, perhaps an OG and a wildcard.
His suddenness, imo, is insane. He makes next level cuts on his route trees. Not that I can see but DDC, Aaron Smith and Eddie Allen appear to know who he is.
I hope so bro. It's nice to see what we've done this weekend so far with the 2 additional HS commits, but we need a little more immediate help for 2020.I was just wondering if we reached the point we might want to fill the rest of the class with JUCOs and grad transfers.
