DL Commit Marques Alexander Mid-Season Highlights:
I think there needs to be a balance - for example the QB coach should be spending the day before the game with the freshman QB not out recruiting. So is your stance that coaches shouldn't visit area recruits on road trips?

Who besides you is saying there wasn’t balance? I didn’t see or hear anything about Spanos (DC), Guifre (OC) or Moyseenko (QB Coach) being touted as being out recruiting in Florida on Friday. They were with the team.

Never said that and we should not be recruiting anywhere the day before a game, especially when you have a young team that’s not used to playing in front of capacity type crowds. If we were expecting to blow out an opponent then maybe - but otherwise focus on the task at hand. But our whole staff really should have been in Georgia according to you. How does that work?

We're frustrated fans.. We love the recruits.. It's just frustrating to see what's happening during games this season. We were hoping for more. Then you have certain things happen (youth and then key coaches bailing pretty much last minute - Dunn) it helps fuel the frustration.I am concerned with all the negative and outlandish attacks of the coaching staff on the other threads. We have a pretty good incoming class based on independent rating. The visceral attacks on the staff will affect this recruiting class. I don't like our record either but we were put here by red pants. this coach is trying to dig us out.
The revolving door for coaches doesn't work and hurts the program with recruits, high school coaches and the overall team. It has to stop sooner than later. He gets this year and next. After that is up to how they play.
Austin Reeves is a 6’6” 250 lbs OT from Lake Norman High School in Moorseville NC. In August he committed to Elon. It appears we are his first FBS offer. Charlotte, Chattanooga and App St have shown interest among others.
As in Betty Crocker, Elon DC?why do I get the weird sense with this one that a certain somebody could've easily bad mouthed us????
After breaking the state record with a 56-yard field goal, this Connecticut high school kicker is getting some additional college interest
>>Ruelas has provided the Warriors with something few high school football teams in Connecticut have: a consistent field goal kicker. Most teams have someone that can kick an extra point when called upon. Some have a player that can get the ball between the uprights from 20-to-30 yards out. Few have one that can hit from 40-plus.
No one has had a kicker that can drill a field goal from 56 yards out.“He is a weapon,” Robinson said. “With a typical high school kicker, you wouldn’t be able to get those points.”
Since “the kick” last Friday, he’s already had several colleges reach out, including UConn, Central Connecticut, Bowdoin and Merrimack. Colorado showed some interest when he went to one of the school’s camps.
Kicking at the Division I level is his goal. For now, he’s just focusing on kicking for his high school team and maybe breaking his own record.<<
Ok, kids are great, facilities are great, academics are great; what about team performance. This team was not competitive with Tulane. 2016 both Tulane and UConn were 1-7 in AAC. UConn gave up 245 points in AAC and Tulane 241. Some 2 1/2 seasons later UConn is a non competitive 49 to 7 loser to Tulane.
Where is HCRE2.0's responsibility for this performance? Recruits aren't stupid, why would they want to go to a school where fans are ok with this type of play? Fans expect better, recruits will come to make team better, need a coach that can get them better. If it's HCRE2.0 he sure hasn't shown it to date.
