Take this with a grain of salt, but I heard from a source that he's considering a transfer to Uconn. Maybe true if the one-time transfer rule goes into effect. Hurley recruit. Averaged 19/3/5 as a junior on 39% from the floor.

He loves Coach Hurley. Has a great relationship with him. We would have a TON of scoring guards. Would be extremely tough to stop us from scoring with his addition.

RJ Cole and Russel are both 20ppg scorers
Gaffney is a hell of a distributor
Bouk and Jackson can jump over peoples heads and shoot at a nice clip. As well as break you off the dribble
Whaley can put up a double double in any game now
Etc etc

I try to limit the dreams this early but what else do we have for the next few months? A backcourt of Cole, Russell, Gaffney, Bouknight, Adams would be so fun next year

That’s a top 25 team. If Whaley is even 70% of what he was and Carlton gets more athletic. Could be dangerous.

There's too many to post in a screenshot but if you look at advanced stats here he had his best season by far in all of the efficiency stats this past season

Correct me if I'm wrong but the last thing this team needs moving forward is a 5'10 guard who shoots 39% from the field. We have our guards for next year. Would rather have AG back tbh.
