Take this with a grain of salt, but I heard from a source that he's considering a transfer to Uconn. Maybe true if the one-time transfer rule goes into effect. Hurley recruit. Averaged 19/3/5 as a junior on 39% from the floor.

Would be incredible. Rhode Island is going to fall off pretty far (compared to what they were). Gotta assume the one time transfer rule happens. Would be major.

He could potentially be a grad transfer even if that rule doesn't go into effect. Doesn't exactly fit the "big" guard Hurley mentioned but if true yes please

He loves Coach Hurley. Has a great relationship with him. We would have a TON of scoring guards. Would be extremely tough to stop us from scoring with his addition.

RJ Cole and Russel are both 20ppg scorers
Gaffney is a hell of a distributor
Bouk and Jackson can jump over peoples heads and shoot at a nice clip. As well as break you off the dribble
Whaley can put up a double double in any game now
Etc etc
Just Wow

Not you, I was skeptical but that post all but confirms he's leaving and given our coach we'll have as good a shot as anyone
Yeah he seems to be gone. We’d be the only logical destination seeing how he literally considers Hurley his father lol.

Fatts, RJ, Bouk, Springs, Whaley? OMG. Jackson, Gaffney, Carlton, Polley, Adams off the bench? SHESH.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the last thing this team needs moving forward is a 5'10 guard who shoots 39% from the field. We have our guards for next year. Would rather have AG back tbh.
Ball handling is a need if AG leaves.

He's a junior. Considering summer classes and everythin, I'd say there's a decent shot he has the credits to get a degree in liberal arts or something.

You absolutely take him regardless though. Even if he has to sit. Priority recruit.

Stats vs. P5/ranked teams:

vs #7 Maryland: 5/2/4 1/8 FG 1/3 3 FG 2/4 FT 4 TO FT 3 STL
vs Alabama : 22/5/5 8/18 FG 1/4 3FG 5/5 FT 1 TO 4 STL
vs LSU: 26/4/8 8/16 FG 4/7 3FG 6/8 FT 1 TO 3 STL
vs WVU: 32/1/5 14/25 FG 3/4 3FG 1/1FT 3 TO 5 STL

vs #3 Dayton: 9/4/4 2/13 FG 0/4 3 FG 5/6 FT 0 TO 2 STL

Averages:

19.6 PPG
3.3 RPG
5.4 APG
41 FG%
44% 3FG
74% (5.9 attempts per game!)
2.0 TO
3.0 STL

Just like with RJ, these stats are with him as the primary option on the team. The finishing at the rim needs to improve. But the ability to draw fouls, hit them, and shoot 3s is hard to complain about.

As a comparison to RJ I'd say he's obviously smaller and not as strong, but a similar shooter with the difficulty finishing at the rim. Fatts is probably a better passer and better defender. RJ is stronger and probably 20+lbs heavier.

Sign him up.

I’ll take it with a tablespoon of sugar. Salivating. Been wanting this kid to transfer here since Dan Hurley left Rhode Island
