Could be, but Owens was also very unproductive. I know she was a freshman and they were losing Japreece Dean, but Charisma Osborne was far better than Owens.

I'm assuming he is a pro basketball player (or on the verge); so, chances are he would be leaving the LA area at any time for his playing career, especially if he needs to go overseas.

He doesn’t have the talent that his older and younger brother have so he may have an overseas career, but he’s not in the NBA

She averaged 30 mins in the last 21 games that she started after the Duke staff stopped managing her minutes. So on top of not starting, using Destanni’s last season numbers, she would be averaging about 6 minutes less court time. I’m not sure if that would be an attractive situation for Kyra. Otherwise she would be a very good replacement in the role Destanni played last season.

Arizona is giving some of these “known for adding transfers” schools a run for their money. She’s had lots of success.

Lots of transfers (mostly in). Likewise, lots of "foreign" players. And it seems to be working. By having success, you will, of course, become more attractive to high school players.

The only odd thing about it all, we got a too many players on the court penalty this past season, that came about because - as you might guess - communication issues between 2 players for whom English is a 2nd language, and who did not share the same "first".

Don't suspect much will change because most states have stay at home orders, but the NCAA ban on in-person recruiting by coaches and suspension of (official and unofficial) campus visits gets lifted day after tomorrow.

No surprise, her HS is legitimately a 3 minute drive from Wisconsin's campus. Should be able to get playing time too.

Hmm.
- The coaching regimes at North Carolina and Georgia Tech that recruited her in High School are now no longer there.
- Va. Tech could use a player or two (bye-bye Baptiste and Mabrey).
- Could there be other, newer suitors? If she wants to be close(r) to home, there's Villanova or Rutgers. And Maryland, as duly noted, needs players, but I can't see her getting PT over Diamond Miller.

On the bright side, save these transfers and Karen Aston anecdotes for your AD to review now and next spring when he as to assess what to do with JPM. Dare I state the obvious? Duke ain't what it used to be and continues a slow and painful slide down the relevancy pole. Maybe the ESPN position ranking pole took into consideration a form a "development" of players from their HS ranking an that's why Duke could not crack the top 5 on rim defending...Our hearts are with you and @CamrnCrz1974 on this "ride from hell" that only a dope AD would continue the journey on.
