When does the no-contact period end? Geno is in Seattle, so hopefully he can visit Daniels and Hailey Van Lith
 
Eh, that's really not even a dunk. Ball is out of her hand and just kinda slips over the rim. Granted reversing it is harder, but this is nothing like Belibi's throwdowns.

Would be pretty shocking if UConn was still recruiting Van Lith considering the additions of Bueckers and Muhl. As much as I like Hailey Van Lith, you don't really need three stud guards in the same class, especially with CW on board two more seasons.

I would expect them to focus their effort on front line players but I wouldn't be shocked if Geno told Van Lith that he still wants her and let her decide.

Two seasons with PB, Hailey Van Lith, CW, and NM together? And that doesn't even take into consideration a potential Westbrook addition. Or the fact that UConn will be at the top of the suitors list for Fudd.

I spoke about her a week or so ago. She is very good friends with one or both of the European recruits coming in. How often do you get a chance to recruit a 6’5” post who is quick, can dunk, and has a decent shot besides. She is a work in progress but as I remember both Dolson and Charles didn’t blossom into All Americans until the start of their junior years. Get her into the weight room and let C.D. Work with her. I say offer her a scholarship.

My guess is that Westbrook is a one and done for whomever gets her. JMO. And will Muhl be ready day one? And by the time Fudd gets to college she may be a wing. Size-wise she reminds me of Maya. I agree that it's unlikely. Maybe we can work a trade with Rueck. ;)

And with the guards we have coming that would be fine. She gets the waiver, plays starting 2 guard this year while we need her, she gets valuable coaching to raise her wnba stock and everyone gets what they need. It's fine. This is the new college basketball whether we like it or not.

So with the Jump Reese just made to #2 in the 2020 class does anyone want her at UConn more now ?
 
Miles made a big jump in the 2021 class, number 2 overall. 2021 Marshall is number 3 and ESPN said she has some Candace Parker like skills to her game

If Geno gets taken again by another 2-year transfer he'll pull all of his nice hair out. I have to think he'll need to be convinced she's staying two years.
 
Continuing on the new Hoopgurlz ratings....

Kamilla Cardoso moved up to 5th. Reese now 2nd after her Boo Williams effort as mentioned by GoHuskies.

Olivia Cochran still surprisingly at 33.

Amari DeBerry drops from 2nd to 6th in the '21 rankings right behind Brooke Demetre who rose to #5.

Kiki Iriafen, who UConn might be interested in based on her club team following Jasmine Lister on IG, went from 6th to 8th.

UConn players of interest Taylor Bigby and Sonia Citron come in at 19th and 20th.

Oh yeah. I'll take that. I just don't want anyone surprised if she sits on the bench and then leaves. Or she could leave and play in Europe if her waiver isn't granted. While any team is helped a lot by her, UConn's guard situation for next year isn't bad without her.

I see Hailey Van Lith is listed as a guard now, and first at her position, sounds like she can share the back court with a true point guard.

There is NO way there are 13 better recruits in the 2020 class than Aaliyah Edwards!

No, but Olsen wasn't going to debut her in the top-5. My guess is he still probably hasn't seen all that much of her yet.

Based on upside alone, she's easily top-5 for me.

It is an initial ranking she'll have plenty of time to move up.

No. CW moves over to the 3 in place of Lou. I think a back court of Danger, Evina, and Squeaks could press and just wear teams down. Then bring Annia, Molly, or Aubrey off the bench fresh who can sustain the press and that would be just painful to an opponent. I think that would low Aubrey and Annia to not have too much pressure put on them too soon. That's the value I see in having Evina with a waiver eben just for 1 year.

So Hailey Van Lith goes from 3 overall #2 point guard. To 8 overall #1g with,is it 3 or 4 pgs ahead of her.? Does espn explain these changes anywhere or they just goofing around.
