Brazil leading PR 44-33 at the half. Would be nice to see PR medal in their home.

Brazil completely dismantled PR, 95-66, with red-hot shooting -- 58% overall, including 12-21 from 3. Quite the contrast with the U.S.'s cold outside shooting yesterday.

Dantas was spectacular: 28 points on 11-16 shooting (including 4-6 from 3). De Souza and Pacheco, both off the bench, had 16 and 15. DeSouza had a double-double (10 rebs) and Pacheco was a near-perfect 6-7 from the field.

Anyone know why Kayla Alexander hasn't gotten in for Canada? She has been having a terrific tournament, and she's 6-4, which might help as Syl and Tina dominate down low. Aaliyah Edwards having a solid game.

Everyone is struggling percentage-wise for the US except Tina and Syl.

USA up by 10 at the half. 34-24

USA begins the 2nd half with a 12-6 run.

USA stretches the lead to 20 at the 3:14 mark

USA up 19 (57-38) at the end of 3. The fat lady is clearing her throat. :D

She had injured her knee in the semifinal game. I think I heard the announcers say it is not serious but definitely enough to keep her out.

How many times has Steph been open in the pick and roll and Arike doesn’t see her...

I’m fairly impressed with Jamie Weisner-Scott for Canada. She was very good for Oregon State. She wouldn’t be an impact player in the WNBA, but I’m surprised she can’t find herself on a roster.

Group Draw for the Americas Pre Olympic Tournament held in Canada during November. I wonder if Team USA will have the same team with the exception of Olivia Nelson-Ododa who will be busy at UConn. :) I wonder who will coach the USA Team.

67-46 USA wins

Canada was never in it. Too many turnovers and too many missed shots.

USA Wins 67-46. Liv scored the last points of the game. According to play by play she scored with a hook shot. Is that accurate?

I thought she looked familiar. I didn't know her by just "Scott." She plays in Russia.

All-Star 5 are ...

Looks like Dantas, Alexander, and Canada. Probably Syl and Tina.

Apparently Team USA will be going to Argentina and not Edmonton Canada in November.
