2019-2020 Bowl Game Thread

The UVA caravan of busses drove past my place tonight. I live a couple miles from thier team hotel. I think they were going to the Hard Rock for something. (I live in between the two and it seems to be a route they'd take to get to that location; the Orange Bowl is within sight from my place too) Got a cool vid of the caravan coming back (fuzzy still below). Those guys roll in style -- and with a gazillion cops as escorts!

Iowa's OLine is absolutely destroying USC's defense. The QB got 8 yards on a QB sneak. They're getting into the secondary with their blocks. Man what I would give to see UCONN do that again

That game was men vs boys. Great coaching vs mediocre coaching, Slovis will be a 1st round pick if he can ever stay healthy.

A burning turd could do better than me this season.
I spent about 15 seconds thinking over each game and it shows.

Watching this really good Memphis team playing well and just wondering what the entire point is.

Great season, lose your coach, win the 6th-best bowl game against the 10th team to finish ranked 12th? Is that it? Is that the pinnacle?

As long as there is a P5 and G5, yep that's the pinnacle. The model is broken but there is no incentive to fix it. The P5 schools do not want share the the big money any further. They're already wondering why they have to share it with Wake and Rutgers.

ND finally found a bowl opponent it can handle.

Kinda boring game. Iowa State looked really slow. Still, if the Hawkeyes hadn’t put themselves in a hole with fumbles on their first two possessions they could have had a chance. But they were totally dispirited by the third quarter and that was that

Cyclones. Don't besmirch the Hawkeyes by confusing them with that lesser University in Ames.

I thought for sure Memphis was going to pull it off. That was such a fun game to watch

Saw that on Twitter earlier. Headed to the game. Mind blowing.

LSU in 2017 and 2014?
ND is great at beating teams that don’t win their divisions, let alone their conference.

I guess this win guarantees a top 5 preseason ranking for the fighting frauds next year.

Most unstoppable offense I have ever seen at the collegiate level. This is modern football at the highest level. Has there even been one play under center all game?

Memphis has done an unreal job finding running backs the last couple of years - Darrell Henderson, Tony Pollard, and now Kenneth Gainwell.

Big XII has almost no shot in these CFP games vs. SEC heavyweights. They can't field a team that can play defense. Another curbstomping of OU currently in progress.
