2019/20 UConn Recruiting

Thanks for the report. ND's two 2018 signees are both guards -- Katlyn Gilbert and Abbie Prohaska -- which might not bode well for a third Mabrey, but you never know: MM has said she might recruit 4, even 5 kids this class. However, a PG and another front liner are needed to join Patterson and Vaughn.

As for Sidor, I'll have to go see her this season...maybe at a winter tourney between Xmas and New Years, if they're playing in one. (Just hope she does not hear the siren song of Louisville.... ;))

SRD may be at the Joe Poli Tournament during the winter break......I'll let you know if I see them scheduled..................scrimmaging Newark Tech with that big post Mariah Perez this weekend........curious to see if she imposes herself on a height challenged team

I really like what I've seen of Puisis' game. Very athletic. Haven't seen anything on Boston. Brunelle is a scoring machine.

Dear Santa,
2019 wish list.
Boston
BabyBrun
Peoples
Puisis
I know I haven't been always good but I'm trying.
Good list. Puisis has tremendous potential. They're all going to be very good but it seems like Puisis is flying under the radar a little.

My only concern about Brunelle is the quality of the competition that she is facing to earn those gaudy stats...........in the video I have seen of her, my daughter could score 20 against those teams and she's hardly UConn material...................

So, if you add 6'2" wing Rickea Jackson from Michigan (#7 in HoopGurlz), Santa could bring
you a supply of PB&J. :D (sorry, it's Friday and been a long week for this Irish fan....)

Either Marissa Moseley or CD watched 2019 Yasmeen Chang last night (12/8). On Tuesday Chang scored 33 points and had 19 points a day or two earlier.

And you have our heartfelt sympathies. Truly.

From the very little I've seen I like Peoples more than Chang mainly because of size. I see Peoples being able to play 1 & 2 and defend 1, 2 & 3.

Ran into one of our favorites last night at a local H.S. game. Shakira Austin was the featured attraction. Unfortunately, Coach McGraw didn't get to see much - It was a mismatch from the opening tip, and more like a lay up drill for Shakira.
But, we ran into each other pre-game, as I was entering the gym. In response to my comment, "Coach, good game last week", she replied, "You mean the DePaul game?"

In addition to her game-high 25 points, Anaya Peoples also had a game-high eight steals and a game-high eight rebounds to go along with four assists, which could have been higher if not for a couple of missed layups. A pretty good performance with Notre Dame head coach Muffet McGraw sitting courtside along with assistant coaches from Vanderbilt (Kelly Komara), Purdue (Lindsay Wisdon-Hylton), Penn State (Jocelyn Watt) and Danville Area Community College head coach Miranda Payne.

“I tend to ingore that and just play the way that I know how to play,’’ Anaya Peoples said. “I pl
