If we're doing pair commitments based on friendships then UConn has to be in the lead for Caroline Ducharme and Saylor Poffenbarger who are besties.

Ducharme is clearly a long time UConn lean based on her social media, never mind the visit

There was also a girl in the first row behind the bench with her family, and one of the guys was wearing a Nobles shirt which is the school where Caroline Ducharme goes. The girl definitely looks like here, but hard to tell from the telecast.

That is Caroline and her father Todd seated behind Crystal and Pheesa.

I assume UConn is showing continued interest in Ducharme..................I know her growth was slowed by a serious knee injury but I'm unclear as to why she's unrated by ESPN at this point.............

I’ve been trying to find something in the local OR press about her visit to no avail. If she’s already made her decision, it’s possible she may have canceled the trip. Haley can always visit Eugene during 2021-22 with her Husky teammates.

It's almost impossible to find Oregon WBB recruiting news in the Oregon press until someone declares; maybe Graves is just especially secretive or maybe it gets overwhelmed by endless stories about football and MBB recruiting or maybe both. But she was in Eugene this weekend with her Cal Stars coach. There's a photo on the Cal Stars Instagram site.

Thanks, I found her. She is actually sitting 2 seats to the right of the girl in the gray sweatshirt, she was wearing a black jacket with a white UConn T shirt.

Recruits should know (from Mike Anthony: Megan Walker shines in UConn women's opener, puts freshman year struggles in rearview) "That is how this works. The best of the best come to UConn to play for the best of the best. It is not easy." So with early recruiting announcements soon, we will learn who wants to be the Best of the Best and play for the Best of the Best or not choose UCONN.

Her high school ranking suggests otherwise but maybe she will be like Faris, Dolson, Stokes, and Nurse, players ranked outside the top 30 but still went on to have a impact at Uconn.

Griffin’s HS ranking (33) is just about the same as Kia Nurse. Don’t be surprised if Griffin’s final ranking after her senior year drops into the 20’s.

Griffin is tall, athletic and has a tremendous upside. How about giving her an opportunity to at least get on campus next year before we decide she’s not going to have an impact.

I'm optimistic about Aubrey. She's clearly more athletic than Kyla or Lexi. She has good size and a nice pedigree. She'll have the usual freshman hurdles, but I see her as an impact player at UConn.

The obvious implication is that Aliyah Boston is NOT going to N.D., though we have several folks here who were convinced of it.

Well South Carolina will definitely be a force next season with the #1 recruiting class. Amihere signed with Dawn over the other programs. Shocked to say that they will once again be a contender for another championship.
