2018 Season: #TimeToWork > Spring Game 4/14 @ Noon

DeGeorge (#70)/Migliaccio (#59) locked up. Tunstall (#71) > Brouse (#95) and nice move by Buss (#26)

Random thoughts....while we have a few options to consider, I would like to see us start the year with Garrison Burnett and Kyle Buss on kick off return. I want two guys that can run it to avoid directional kicking.

Swann had the burst but fumbled too much. Maybe he can hold on to the ball better this year?

I would give Swann another shot. I dont think he will see the field much on D this year with all the new blood coming in, so his best opportunity will be on special teams in my opinion. He will need to show he is a changed man with possession however during August to get the nod.

So can we assume Van Demark is mauling our DEs and making gaping holes for Mensah, Fortt is breaking up slot receivers, TE routes and helping over the top on big throws and Scott is a punt catching machine? Well - that's what I am going with for now.

Smart way to encourage competition. Love it!

Brouse never had the frame. Buss on the other hand has some real skills but had family issues and got knocked around returning kickoffs. Would prefer we don't sacrifice his body doing that.

Very excited to see Coyle this year. He has next level potential.

If a punter could ever be a team's talisman, Desi was it.

Yikes - absolutely razor thin at the TE position. What will it take to move that 6'7'' Garson kid to that position???

McLean, Davis, Jay Rose, Holman in case of emergency...I think we'll survive, especially now that we're not running Diaco's scheme anymore.

Yeah, but if we have a couple injuries then the play book might have to start getting pared back. I have this notion that Dunn is going to really step up use of TEs in this offense....which if true makes Fitton leaving a but more puzzling. I also don't really view Davis and McLean as true TE, more like WRs that can chip block.

Anyway, we should take two TEs in the 2019 class + a walk on or grad transfer as I think we will see three of the four leave after this year.

McLean actually looked like a pretty solid blocker here in that first clip.
Yeah and up against Carlton Steer weighing in at 263 (looks smaller than that, no?).
