Temple or UConn?

Yeah if it's between us and Temple we should get him but I'll assume others are involved and we'll be waiting on him....would be really nice to get someone soon though to lay the foundation of the 2018 class.

If Temple did somehow beat us out for him then I would be mucho mucho concerned about 2018 class.

As for UConn: “UConn wants me to replace Terry Larrier and be an impact player from Day One. They want me to be able to play all positions.”

I like that he repeats what Uconn wants in terms of playing multiple positions, not to mention that "dog" reference

Wake Forest was his second scholarship offer and it has not backed off since then. However, others including Xavier, Oregon and more importantly, UConn, have remained in pursuit. Currently, Wake Forest is a top landing spot for him, though the Huskies may have the best chance.

PS: I hope Jalen is training with Kemba or Isaiah Thomas this offseason. Larrier should be in the same camp he was in last year as well.

This would be a perfect get to team with TL at the forwards position for '17. We can definitely play small ball if we get him. Not going to get my hopes up though.

UConn does need depth at the 3, but I don't think he's ready for the speed of college basketball yet. He seems like the type of player where we're all complaining about not redshirting him a few years from now.

On the other hand, at his size/length and with his athleticism, one would hope KO could get him into the league prior to his senior year anyway. He also greatly improved following the first EYBL session.
